i just looked at a thread i posted the other day and noticed that the pictures that are in the thread now are not the pictures i uploaded - they are not even my pictures! yesterday the thread had the correct pictures, but today totally different ones.

anyone know why? where did my pictures go? here is the link to the thread:

yeah - those pictures aren't mine. the two i posted were of a lighting set up. like i said, they did upload into the thread properly and they were in the thread yesterday. so, somehow they got switched with the another users pictures of the seeds and group shot.

they were called 'first" and "second"

ok, i've looked into the db to make sure there are no errors with the attachment table itself and it looks fine. What I think might be happening here is that when I was working on the original pictures problem I screwed up some db indexing by deleting attachments and threads.

I imagine this problem could go either way from this point. It will either become a nightmare and this problem will begin to happen WAY more frequently, like every time. Or the problem will simply dissappear after so many new threads are added and the boards continue to add new threads/keys.

I would very much like to hear of other similar issues as they arise. I'll try my best to get to the bottom of it, but I just want to make sure that there is a real problem. I posted an image the other day and checked it, it remains the same one I posted.

I'll do some more testing and keep my eyes open for more complaints.

one more thning - is it possible for someone to delete the incorrect pictures from the thread? i tried, but got a message saying it's too late for me to do it.
