just to clarify there is a BB code that allows you to display pictures from remote servers.

here is an example.

say you have a web site. ie. www.mycoolsite.com or even www.geocities.com/mycool****e/

simply upload your picture to your server and copy the adress down.

then do this simply take away the extra space and then you have the img code.

HOWEVER , the only diffrence is that it actualy displays in the thread rather than clicking on the link. In fact. it can be a pain for people on slow connections because they will have to load EVERY image withing the [img] tags rather than just what ones they want to look at. just thought i would clarify.

TBH, im quite surprised OG allows hotlinking and I dont expect that they will allow it for much longer. When and if the remote decides to not allow image hotlinking, the images linked in threads will no longer be available for viewing...not even for download.

I expect we will see this before too long.

in the last 2 minutes, the site automatically loads the pics for me now... it was like this before then it went to just links, now it loads the pics? anyways this makes the guides read much easier!
