I noticed that Overgrow at www.overgrow.com had been down and not working for a while. Has it been closed down? There really isn't any reason for it to get closed down. If it did get closed down, then Cannabis Culture would as well, High Times should as well and every pot magazine out there discussing growing weed. I cannot believe it would be closed down, does anybody know what happend to it?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | There's a TON of information across these boards and others on the OG scandal - The truth of the matter is that NO ONE really knows what has happened to OG. The leading speculation is that the owner has been taken into custody and the servers confiscated, but this theory has more holes in it than a coffee filter. I dont think OG is gone forever, but they have definately lost some respect across the community for the lack of information. You can read my full take on this over in my blog... http://blogs.marijuana.com/node/34 ~r

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | This is all I know (from h t t p : //cannabisculture.com/articles/4638 . h t m l). It was sent to me via the MMJList, so I'm sure others have the same info. It was posted on 03 Feb. ------------------ Overgrow.com, Cannabisworld.com, Heaven's Stairway Seed Company and Eurohemp.com Owners Apprehended Overgrow.com unavailable Overgrow.com unavailable Cannabis Culture has developed a timeline of events we believe accurately account for the disappearance of Overgrow.com, Cannabisworld.com, Heaven's Stairway Seeds (hempqc.com), and Eurohemp. Disclaimer: this is an ongoing investigation, and facts may not be correct until confirmed! On Monday evening, resident of Montreal Richard Calrisian, the owner of the four websites, was contacted by his web service providers in Vancouver where his servers were situated. They told him that there may be a problem, regarding a police investigation. RC told his provider to shut down the websites immediately. Within hours, the RCMP (or other police) apparently entered the server site in Montreal (not Vancouver, as previously reported) with a warrant and apprehended the hardware that housed the four web sites. In the early morning of Tuesday, police in Montreal moved in and arrested RC, his wife, family members and an unknown number of employees. It is alleged that RC, a pseudonym, is being held at Riviere-des-Prairie (RDP) jail in Montreal, and his wife in is Tanguay jail, across the river from RDP. Cannabis Culture called the prison and found no one there under the name Richard Calrisian. The bail hearing should be on Monday, but it is unusual that a bail hearing has not yet been held. Typically they take place within 24 hours of arrest, unless an investigation is ongoing and the accused are being held temporarily without bail. This may be because there is a risk that the arrest news might inform other persons who are also under investigation. Earlier reports of a drug bust in Hearst, Ontario are not related the seizure of Overgrow.com websites. More information to come, when provided -------------------

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'm feeling very happy that I didn't join & post on there.... Too bombastic for my liking, for the Feds too, by the looks of things... You would have thought that they'd concentrate on getting the nasties on the web first, like the kiddy~fiddlers... There was a big stink here some time ago, police called it 'Operation Ore', where ~7000 paedo's in Britain were listed by the federales Stateside.(They'd all paid with credit cards for child porn images. Stupid as well as sick, eh?.) Here they failed to follow them all up 'due to lack of funds'. Speculation was that the list included too many public figures (judges & the like), to systematically work their way through. I doubt they'd have the manpower to investigate every IP address for MJ though, probably just the biggies... I'd guess 99.9% of our members wouldn't interest them anyway really.. Isn't the American Press onto this issue? I'm surprised its not made bigger headlines (I guess LEO is hopeful of further busts).
