I am having a very difficult time posting pics. Before the site was upgraded I didnt have any problem but now It is always telling me its too big, I have looked around and I see other peoples pics and they are very big. Is there some type of way everyone is posting there pics and still keeping them large?? I have tried to change it to gif but that didnt work, I took a pic of my cola forming but the pic is so small you cant even see it Could some one help cause my plant is starting to flower good and I want to post some nice pics

hrm, 160Kb is the limit on image size that has been set. I've seen alot of really nice images posted to the board under those constraints.

What DPI (Dots per inch) are you using when scanning / importing your images to the pc/mac?

75 DPI should be fine for anything on the web.

I dont want to go much bigger in size the 160K becuase the pages just take too long. Imagine having a page with 3-4 200k images posted to it...Bandwidth consumption (read:COST) would go through the roof.

Let's try to find a solution that does not require up'ing the size limit we have set
