The Garden's Cure Posting Guidelines

Your use of The Forums indicates your acceptance of the Acceptable Use Policy and these Posting Guidelines. Please take the time to read the AUP.

Violations of the following guidelines or the AUP may result in a warning or banning.

You must be at least 18 years of age or older to register at Gardenscure.com.
Underage posters will be immediately banned.

Please use our Search feature and the Reference Library before asking a question. Simple questions have been asked and answered many times already and can be easily found. The Grow Guide and the Grow FAQ are both excellent references.

Multiple Accounts
Each member is allowed one account. If a member is found to have multiple accounts, all of their accounts may be cancelled.

No Hookups
Do not use these Forums for the purposes of sharing or distributing marijuana, seeds, clones, cultivation equipment, or other information or products that could cause harm to Gardenscure.com.

No Cross-posting
Do not post the same content in multiple forums. There are descriptions for each forum listed on the Main Page. Consider which is most appropriate for your topic and post it once.

No Turbo-posting
Turbo posting is defined as mass posts with little content, such as "nice grow dude," "sweet!," "I agree," and "me too." Please try to add useful information whenever you post. Posting for the purpose of racking up a post count won't be tolerated.

No discussion

• about selling, trafficking, smuggling, or mailing of medicine or drugs.
• about getting pets/animals high.
• about the cultivation of Cannabis in a dwelling where other household members are not aware of the situation.

Do not

• post for the purpose of drawing attention to another thread on a different subject.
• post seed bank shipping methods.

Other Drugs
The focus of our Forum is the growth and use of medical Cannabis. All discussion of drugs other than Cannabis will be limited to the Tiki Lounge or Flowers & Herbs forum.

Discussion of the growth of other plants including but not limited to coca, peyote, poppies, salvia, etc. is acceptable as long as the discussion focuses on the growth of the plant. Discussion of the production of by-products from the above mentioned plants and/or methods of use of those by-products is prohibited and will result in closure of the thread.

Hyperlinks
Links to other sites that are considered helpful are allowed.

Spam
Spamming products or linking to products that a member might profit from is prohibited.

On Topic
As a matter of courtesy, please stay on topic. Posts that evolve into new questions or “Grow Journal-like” posts present a difficulty for folks trying to search out a specific topic.

Thread closure
Threads may be closed at the thread starter’s request, either publicly in the thread or through PM to a moderator of the forum.

Avatars
Once you have been registered for 30 days, achieve 100 posts, and have at least one positive reputation point, you may use an avatar.

Custom Titles
1,000 posts are required for a custom title. Read more about this here.

Signatures
Signatures are limited to 10 smilies and 750 text characters. HTML, domain names, URLs and links are prohibited. Local links within the Marijuana.Com family of web sites and non-profit organizations are allowed. VB code size 1 must be used on any signature that exceeds 3 lines at 800x600 resolution. Check resolution here and regardless of the number of lines, no larger than VB code size 3 is to be used.

Avatars, custom titles, signatures and profiles
as well as posts, must conform to these Guidelines, as well as, the AUP and may be edited or removed by Staff.

Private Messages (PM) or Reputation comments that violate our guidelines or the AUP can be reported or forwarded to staff.

Reporting a Post
There is a "report" button on every post. Use it to let moderators and administrative staff know about a post that is offensive or violates the posting guidelines or the AUP.
