... In choosing a strain for my fall hydro grow. I would like a heavy yielding plant with a kick-ass high. 10 weeks max in flower. I was thinking of Big Bud. Any suggestions for this poor lost soul??? JG

| i haven't found a strain that is both large in yields and has a excellent stone. usually, i find strains that are high yielding are not very potent, and i find strains that are low to moderate yields can be some of the best pot ive ever smoked. if you find a strain that is both high yeilding and has a potent stone, let me know. big bud is high yielding, but not as good stone, as say granddaddy purple.

| i haven't grown chronic but i'd like to....from what i hear its a super heavy yielder with a quality stone...like top grade commercial it seems sour diesel (in my experience) is a sativa dominant strain that likes about 10-11 weeks, but if you use bushmaster you can keep it under 10 f'sho you can check out my progress with it in the Group Indoor Journal... under Planting Indoors.... since my last update its been given the Gravity and every bud is starting to grow fingers all over em....colas are all about two fists, and a couple that i FIM'ed are goin nuts too....everything has to be staked up with bamboo or suspended by hangers its so weighty...the cages you use (JG) would have been good for me on this one.... i dunno if you've smoked it but its outrageous....taste is a top 10 for sure and the stone is amazing....i started another thread that is "top 10 strain list" and the sour D and the NYCD have shown up alot on many people's lists....it'll be a month or so till i know weight, but the pics in the Group Journal are from a tray under 1200w.... hope that helps

| I just ran some Legends Ultimate Indica and turned out awesome... decent yield and the stuff just rocks me.  Also have some Sour Diesel * Kush that is only about 3 weeks into Veg... Really looking forward to this as Fishon stated is suppose to be the bomb!!! | ||
