Need an outdoor Pacific NW strain suggestion.
permalink

I'm an old school guy from the overgrow days that wants to return to the great outdoors. However I've got no clue what strain to use in the Pacific NW, or where to get it.

I've used seedsdirect in the past, and have no idea what else is out there.

I'm looking at needing ~100 seeds or so, the cheapest seeds they list are $25 strains under "nirvana" genetics, they don't say how many you get for $25 but I'm guessing it's the standard "10". So that's $250 for 100 seeds, not exactly cheap...

Anyways, what do you all suggest for the Pacific NW? I'm looking for high yield, the best mold tolerance I can get, early'ish flowering (can't trust weather after september) and of course, I can't afford $1000 for 100 seeds, the price has to be somewhat reasonable.

Finally, my plan was to grow these seedlings indoors for a month or two under heavy floursencent (shop lights) which seem good for veg, then transfer them to the outdoors around may or so after I have sexed them. If anyone has any suggestions as to my "basic" plan, as far improving my grow, please do let me know.

So what I need:

#1. What strain to grow in the PacNW?
#2. Where to get it? (100 seeds needed, can't afford $1000 etc)
#3. How does my plan to grow seedlings indoors, then transfer outdoors (when is the best time of year?) sound?
#4. Any advice?
#5. Lets say I was looking for the "most sativa" of all sativas at a cheap price, I know the yield isn't great, but I really want to grow just a few plants of a different strain, something with a heavy sativa high, not couchlock, what do I go for here?

Thanks for all of your help!

Check out GreenLife Seeds, they have outdoor breeder packs which would do well in the PNW since they're from B.C., above you.

well shit your gunna drop some cash for 100 seeds but i have a better idea. your planning on gettin around 30 good females right?

how about cheap feminized seeds? they arnt as cheap as you hoped but you wont have to buy as many seeds.

AMS from green house seeds, is the one im thinking for you. BIGGO yielder and very resistant to mold. so thats great in the pacific NW.

doc cronic has em for 37 bux for 10 feminized seeds.

I had ruled out feminized because in the past, they had been more prone to going "hermy". If this is not really a risk, I'm happy to use them, but this is a concern of mine, especially since this is an outdoor grow, that wont recieve a TON of attention.
