That is a very close-minded stance you have taken; I would have expected better from a fellow toker. No drug effects two people the same way. I have smoked with people, years ago, who did have some mild hallucinations after smoking. I have even hallucinated after smoking. Were the hallucinations anything close to a trip from acid/shrooms? Hell no. Did I perceive things that weren't there (the definition of hallucination)? Yes.

Well you can just use your imagination anytime you want to see something that isnt there then. But on bud you can always close and reopen your eyes and you should be back to normality. I think hallucinations is about things you see and have no control over to make them appear and disappear. You can stop these in your head weed 'trips' anytime you want but on shrooms/acid, you are in for the long haul until the effects wear off. Dont get me wrong, I would love to get more hallucinogenic effects every now and again but also I think not being able too is a reason weed can be smoked all the time without the repercussions of the more psychadelics. Can you imagine driving on acid everyday, i cant because everyone would be hospitalized from misjudging their surroundings and getting in wrecks.

I just woke up from another sober sleep with maybe some more insight. Since I am not in a groggy haze when I wake up, that probably contributes to the immediate recollection of what I was just dreaming about.

I was just having this conversation the other day. Bubblegum makes me dream like mad! I always dream in color and can remember several dreams. The Bubblegum when I smoke it it makes very real awesome dreams. I thought that it did and luckly had a bunch of it and smoked it before bed for like a week straight. I had the best dreams ever. This is probably just me, but I was talking to someone about it and I saw this thread so I thought I would share that.

I agree. The only time I truly tripped from MJ is a day I told my friend that I couldn't drive (that has never happened before or since). Well, the friend proceeded to drive my jeep into a tree (thank God I had rock gear on my jeep so it didn't get hurt) so I took over the driving. 1/2 mile down the road I saw a street sign bend over into the road. I shook my head and it was gone but I did see that damn thing try to get me to hit it.

I had some of the most meaningfull dreams after going to sleep after smoking. The secret is making sure you smoke about 2-3 hours before you sleep, not just before going to sleep. I had these dreams on some White Widow and Jack Herrer.
