Coffee Bud?

Does anyone know of a strain that used to come around the Pacific Northwest about 20 years ago called "coffee bud?" It was a beautiful. strong strain. The color was a very pale green, extremely crystally, and the most unique bouquet. It didn't smell like coffee, but that's what the grower called it.

I know. Wish I had a better memory and a sharper vocabulary to describe the stuff. My hope was that someone ran across it back in the day. My fondest memories of coffee bud were in Bend, Oregon between 1984 and 1986.

The stuff was damn near Juniper colored. The biggest buds I saw were the size of dog turds. Real crystally! I'd get an oz. and after dumping it into a pyrex dish, I'd scrape enough crystal for a couple BHs. One grower (J) had a lock on it.

I left town for a couple of years, and when I came back, it was gone.
