ok, so I have a righteous female mother. I just tried to get a male plant from my last eight 4-year old blueberry seeds, only of which 2 made it thru life. both are female. is there any such thing as purchasing reputable pollen from legit breeders?

| i would think asking for pollen from a breeder is like asking for a part of the secret recipe that goes into a final product, a trade secret if you will. and buying it could effectively give you the chance to potentially come up with a better product then what the [already established] breeder has [depending of course on what you breed it with]. i would also imagine that even if it were available, it might be kind of expensive compared to just buying a seed and hoping for a male.  (i dont think they would have just cheap ole pollen laying around) the only thing i could suggest is email a breeder and find out. you might find one that is willing to freely give out their base genetics. worth a shot, the worst thing that happens is they say "no".

| I don't think anybody has ever asked if pollen is legal?!?! I would guess that if they could lab it and pin it as cannabis then yes but man you gotta try hard to get caught with pollen...haha. Pollen from a reputable source is gonna be hard to trak down. Good Luck though! EMj

| yes, it kind of boggles the mind a little bit. Like would an open discussion of a pollen trade be prohibited by this website? (im really not tryin to start anything here, im just curious) mods?

| Hey I read a thread the other day on feminized seeds.... This guy said to leave your plant in flower a few weeks longer to produce a female flower...Yeah a Hermie but realy not that bad I think alot of people are scared of them but............. Most of the time there caused by stress..Even if you could just harvest 95% of the plant and leave the rest.. Just an idea for you,maybe save you some cash..
