Sso, those are my feelings exactly. I'm practically losing sleep over this... its like an itch I can't scratch. My opinion vacillates almost daily. ![]() My current theory is that its seed from an outdoor grown plant that was pollinated with wild, true hemp-type plants. Mostly because it seems more likely that such a variation might be present - and unknown - in the wild. Not as many people, I would think, pay attention to prevailing trends in wild hemp leaf shape. ![]() Otherwise I would have thought like 50 people would've jumped in with definitive answers by now. lolz. Also, it began developing an unusually woody stem early in its growth... like how you might expect a fully grown mature plant's stem to look, only much narrower. The leaves themselves also seem to be a little more fibrous... less tender than I would normally expect. Man. For all I know, I may just be lovingly tending to some kind of dwarf sumac. Oh well. ![]() They're getting almost exactly 12/12 light now after vegging in 24/0 till about earliest vegetative maturity... still no definite signs of sex... been bout week and a half. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Interesting plant...I don't have much to add, but I do want to see how this turns out. One thing I did notice is that the older leaves in the full plant pic are really smooth...the veins really seem to diminish more than I would expect.?.? ![]()

I assure you, there was no photoshopping done... but I'm pretty certain it wasn't what I thought it was... That plant met its demise whilst chilling next to its cousins. It was munched right down to its roots, yet the girls were (miraculously) untouched. I was finally convinced that it was of a different ilk than the girls. So thanks to all who responded, and to those who were naysayers - you were correct. -Grendel

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | maybe it's a from a hermie seed that was so far into flowering that the genetic code was mutated to the point it was a perma-re-veg and couldn't vegetate. Did you get the seed from a sack of MJ? Maybe a Hermie Polen of some distant reletive of "cannabis" polinated a seed pod and took over the whole operation... (now that'd be some weed) Maybe it's a darwinistic specie- spontaniousley created by UV mutations of an unprotected seedlet?

![]() | Not much of a reply, but the first thing I thought of with the the post title . . . . Some genetics/varieties/cultivars - like Blueberry - really do just have weird "mutant" kinda of growth, like the genetics are on the verge of breaking through to something else, or at least a new cultivar . . . (jus' my two cents)
