depends on the plant, when you go to flower the plant can double or triple in size. I have one flowering now in a space roughly the same as yours. I couldn't have another plant that size in there. just not enough room. Now it's loving all the space and the light, to the point I'm wondering if I'm going to have to flower in my veg and realizing that I have to many plants.

Not sure if this help much

paradise seeds amsterdam flame seems to not stretch at all, i have only grown one female from the pack so far but pretty much zero stretch in flower. sugar babe stays short as well, stretches some but less than doubles.

I'm not talking about stretching, mine was LST'ed and it's doubled to almosted tripled in width. I added a few cfls in the flower and it really liked the extra light. The problem i've had with both plants that have flowered is root binding. Even in a 10" pot, like what you would get a fern in, I had to drill holes in the pot and give it another pot for the roots.
Took the plant out to clean up and there were roots sticking out of the drain holes, roots out of every hole. Not trying to steal a thread but, what's the best way to counteract this problem?
