Question Odd shape and node growth
permalink

Hey there folks.... Not sure if this the right forum (I'm sure the kind moderators will move it if needs be...), but I'm getting some strange growth on one of my 3 week old Mistys... All my other plants have been fine, but this one started off looking a bit stunted and then while the others were shooting up all around, it started doing a strange alternating node kinda thing after the first regular one... The stem kinda twists to one side then the other with each subsequent node...
A mate of mine suggested I leave it, and see if it turns out to be some kind of super mutant, but is this just some freak in the genetics or does it signify anything???
Pic quality's not too hot, but I think you can see what's going on...

i had a couple of plants that seemed a little f'd up when they were young seedlings. then at the first node the split into two stems and become very bushy and turned into a sphere shape.
when they budded i got big big yield and from your pics it looks to be happening here (i think) so don't worry. be happy.

Thanks for the encouragement folks... I put her into the main grow room under two 400w hps and although she's lagging a bit behind the others, she's coming on strong now and looking VERY healthy... I'm gonna be putting all my little babies onto 12/12 maybe in the next week cos they're not so little any more and I think it's time for them to start budding soon. The biggest is now around 18" and they're putting on between 1 1/2 to 2 inches a day... I'm running out of space!!!
