Hey BZ, thanks for stopping by. Where have you heard this? I've always read that the strain exhibits couch lock characteristics and has an extreme narcotic effect, not good for beginner consumers. It's a triple threat, straight Indica.

If you can find anything that makes these claims, please post it here. Thanks.

I have some experience with BD and Sour purp

imo the black domina is not worth keeping around. Despite the fact it clones well, grows fast and yields pretty good. Unless you like a musky smell, kinda like a handful of earth, the taste is relatively flavorless. It is a couchlock stone, but I prefer a flavorful smell and taste.

On the other hand the sour purple....
purchsed some buds from the dispensary and I Love the smoke, just love it. It is super uplifting, tasty and smells sweet and fruity.
So I bought two clones.
I'll take pics of the one in my backyard and the one in my growroom.

I go to the clubs and buy 2 clones often. 1 to keep as a mom and 1 to flower out for R&D purposes....
Unfortunatley, the sour purp mom had bugs so we put her outside and she is flowering, but I took a clone and we'll have to hope that I have the strain...
out of the 15 strains I'm presently working with, I have the highest expectation for the sour purple.....
But I heard FLO is an awesome sativa dominant hybrid.....
Man all this talk about herb...I'm gonna go do a solar rip of some 'orange cheese' or 'super dawg' I have no idea what is in its lineage other than the Chemdawg, but is is a great morning high!

Welllll I dont know.. Swirlgirl has talked fairly highly about Black Domina, saying friends have told her it has an almost mediciney taste, yet some dislike it all together. I guess you're the latter. I don't know, perhaps a different cut? What if I were to add flavor enhancers? I hear you on the flavorful smell and taste, though. I've read it produces a licorice type taste and smell

Ya, unfortunately I lost my Purple Diesel not too long after I got her. She was barely 2-3" tall, and when I went to dismantle her for proper burial, she put out this killer odor - just like her flowers 3" TALL AND DEAD! I was so dissapointed I didn't get a chance to know her.

'super dawg' I have no idea what is in its lineage other than the Chemdawg, but is is a great morning high!

Whenever I see the word "Super" used I associate it with Super Silver Haze, which is good wake and bake strain. So I've read..

Last Friday, I decided to check out the roots in my Dj Short's FLO Bonsai Mum plant and see if I could give her a little more space to stretch out in her 16oz tumbler. I figured since I had to provide more root space for my Chemdawg D plant, that I would most definitely need to for the FLO.

I went to empty the hydroton from her and gentley pull the root ball from the cup. As I was doing this I noticed the roots had almost "slinkied", where the majority of the roots were right near the base of the stem. Very flimsy roots extended to the bottom of the cup where another root ball developed at the bottom, creating an anchor.

With the top root ball in hand, I tried to pour the lower root ball out. As I did, the flimsy roots that were connecting the two root balls snapped. They were very soft and while inspecting the remains, I found peices of the larger tap root. Which was slightly odd, because the root growth seemed extremely stunted. I figured I would be ok, since reading about root pruning in DWC systems, and how it's possible to cut off the lower end of the roots.

I transplanted the FLO back into a new, clean cup and put her back in the tray. The reservoir has some stuff for shock treatment for cuttings, etc. I was hoping this would help.

A day later the plant had massive droop. 3 days later, today, and she is crispy. I've been foliar spraying her with the same solution I've been using on my cuttings. I'm going to let her sit while continuing to foliar feed. Hopefully in a few weeks she will begin to turn around Similar things have happened to my BD and she is gigantor now! I won't give up until the plant completely goes dry.

I really messed up.
