The most I ever yeilded from one plant was almost 2 pounds but it was outdoors and planted in 2 stacked tires over a bed of lavarock.
Indoors I think my heaviest plant was about 6 ounces. It was a mother plant that I had taken hundreds of clones off of, so it was about 6 months old when I flowered it and it was in a 10 gallon pot..... I don't like growing in dirt anymore.... I find hydro much faster and much easier. In hydro i can get a yeild like that off of a 2 gallon pot filled with hydroton in about 1/2 to 2/3 of the time it would take me to do it in dirt.

How much growing experience do you have? Don't expect to yield an lb per plant if you're new Could happen, but not likely.

i hate to say it but the is truth is you can only get around a lb per plant if you have all of the following things

proper genetics
lots of knowledge on exactly what you are doing (many grows under your belt)
lots of time to care for your babies (1+ hour a day)
lots of avaliable money to blow on the proper set-up (like at least a grand)

so get some cheap (but good) genetics from nirvana or mandala. get a few grows under your belt, and you will be on your way to big crops. this is the way 99% of us had to do it. hell i go to college to learn how to grow plants and im still not in the lb per plant league.

p.s. you can do it is soil, but i wouldnt recommend it either, hydro its better if your mainly going for yield.

Um, do you really need a pound per plant from 4 different strains? Do you have $$ dancing in your eyes or what? What I'm saying is, why do you want 1 pound per plant? are you only allowed a certain # of plants?

If plant count is not an issue, do like Crazytrain suggested and grow a few small plants and harvest in 3 months, not a year. More forgiving, too......if you drop something and crush the 1 plant you have, SOL. But if you mess up 1 in a SOG, not that bad. Also, soil takes a bit longer than Hydro- you could think of doing simple Hydro, and smaller plants harvested more often, and get the same yield per year.

no i dont need a lb per plant, i only want a 1/2lb per plant. and yes i only want 15-20 pots in my growroom. havent completely finished chopping last grow, but the yield really sucked, some plant not even an ounce per. seems like a waste of time to grow such low producers, except that the quality is awesome. the whiteberry, people love it, i didnt get to taste any myself though. [Mod note: No discussion about selling medicine or drugs, except in the med usage subforum of genetics where med mj vending/club sales can be discussed.] currently have blue widow, purple lady, opium, and jacky white hanging. really looking forward to smoking some jacky white.
