![]() | I have heard that there are a lot of plants that can finish in 45 days indoors. I have heard that shiska-berry is a very good early finishing strain, I think another name for the shiska is sweet tooth, (not sure on this though) I have a female shiska berry starting to veg. really well, I will let you know if it does in fact finish quickly. peace

ive been all over the search for this. Oz said that blueberry finishes in 40 to 45 days. i looked at the strain and it says much longer. ![]() passion one they say is 6 weeks, but londonboy says its late, its also outdoor so if youre indoor then this post is probably not very valuable. cream sodica is a real good one i think. ak 47 finishes in 47 days! thats what they say anyway. do you know why some strains have a shorter flowering period yet finish later in the season than some of those that have a longer flower period? the onset of flowering cant be that much of a difference. it seems to me like the companies that have this data are just saying it to make it sound better. i too would like to know what the fastest flowering strains are. and because they are faster what are you compromising in relation to color of pistils, and yield etc. (how and why does it work that way other than it simply being part of its genotype?)

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ill clear a few things up with what exactly I said and try and explain the idea of phenotypes within a population. If I have a population of 10 seeds out of those 10 seeds IU may get 5 females and 5 males and out of the 5 females I have I may get some taller ones, some shorter and some that are halfway inbetween. Some of these females will take 9 weeks to finish and some will take 8, yet again some will only take 6 or 7 weeks to finish. What we are seeing is phenotype differences, or individual differences within a population or, in this case all the females from the population and their within group differences. I said some phenotypes of blueberry finish early, some will finish late on average the strain may finish at 50 days but the early finishing types if selected, can be kept ie 42 days. As for fast finishers: Jack Flash from Sensi , SweetTooth#3 and the new Sweettooth #4 from Breeder Steve at Spice of Life Seeds...Steve was also the breeder of the original Shishkaberry that has now become the Sweetooth strains, original shishkaberry was a moderate yielding plant, st## and the new #4 will produce bigger colas. Some blueberry crosses come in at around 45 days also. AK47 can come in at around 7 weeks too depending on the pheno selected from the original seed, ostly AK does 8 weeks though. Hope this helps ![]() Oz

No. The genes combine differently. That's is what a phenotype is- the outward (visible) expression on the genetics within. Read this again- Quote:
Does this make our strain a 47 day finisher or a 52 day finisher?? The seedbank descriptions are just rules of thumb, based on averages. They're not meant to be taken quite so literally. Also, when you see conflicting descriptions, always refer to the breeder of the strains comments...those are the only comments to take seriously.
