Anyone know what the tallest growing strain of MJ is? (and how tall does in grow in meters)?? I have heard that plants grow really tall only outside near the equator. Is it possible to get similar results indoors with the proper strain?

Lightbulb Height

You can technically grow a plant as high as your ceiling but this is not recommended, as your plant will become so tall it will tip over, and the lower braches will barely have any bud from being so far from the light.

This also takes too much time, your better growing a plant just a few feet tall and making it flower to start a new one instead of spending 9 months growing a beast.

I'm not too concerned about growing bud. I just want to set records and impress my grow buddies with a plant the size of tree ) Also I just want to know which strains grow that tall just out of curiosity, because I know some varities are genetically programmed to grow taller than others.

Sativas

They will give you a tall skinny plant .. Indicas will give you a short bushy plant ....

Talking

Quote from memory from the Insiders Guide - "These Thai plants grew to 16 feet under a skylight in San Francisco".

If you're interested, some HEMP (i.e not marijuana) strains can grow to over 30 feet, with internodes over a foot long!!

SWEET 20 feet? Are you serious? That is bigger than a lot of the trees out here. Approximately how long would it take to grow this beast?

Cool might want to look into big bud

yea i think you should look into the pure big bud strain if im not mistaken its mostly sativa ? but anyways i have heard reports of people getting them atleast 12ft but then they got tired an budded them up so im pretty sure they can get bigger? not to mention if you cure a 20ft big bud plant not only will you be impressing your freinds but you will be keeping them high for the rest of the year =o). i have also heard of a strain called Tai i think ? originated from tailand ( duh ) i have heard storys of neigbor hood kids actually climbing up this strain ( now thats a beast ) hehe but this strain i think is very thined out still think for spending a year of your life on a bohemoth of a plant you should get a decent yeild from it.. hope i helped..

Question

Really??

I always thought Big Bud was an INDICA (short, stocky, fat buds and large yield for the size). Isn't BC Big Bud slightly more sativa though?
