Hey all.

I'm a newbie to the whole growing scene, just gearing up to start my own indoor closet garden, lol. I have a couple questions for you, especially butterfly (Who has allready impressed me with her answers to the other threads ). The only seeds I have on hand are ones from strains I have NO idea about.. I live out in the country, so I've never really gotten my hands on any mind-blowing weed, and my dealer gets his from his friends and has no idea what strains they are. What can I do while growing it to make mediocre weed more mind blowing?

Second question, and I know this is probably going to sound more than a little newbieish.. where can I buy seeds from specific strains? Any good place on the web or mail order?

Thanks all, and stay mellow

You can't turn brown weed into Greenbud man.. it's genetics. all seeds have em. however, if you're smoking columbian browns (2 pounds packed into a brick the size of my left nut) and it has mass seeds/stems then all you gotta do to make that more acceptable is grow it, and harvest it Properly. you'll end up w/ fluffy unseeded brown weed if grown properly. just not the bombs.

about your strain question, greenmans seedbank rating page is a great place to start.. if you do a search in the forums for 'greenman' you can find a post w/ the hyperlink to his website.

for better strains and good prices check out hempqc.com they have some top quality seeds mixed up accidently for about $20.00 for 12-15 seeds and the list of what they can be isn't that big, so for a small price you have some Good strains

Hello, Captain. Welcome to Hempcultivation.com.

Thanks for the support, I am male, just to set the record straight.

Growing is a pleasure, growing good budz makes it even more so. I can assure you, anything you grow from seeds collected through normal commercial channels will impress you with the result.

The general commercial grower is not worried about the occasianal male or hermie floating around. The result is seen through seedy buds. When I roll a nice 3 man joint I like to find one or two seeds. (unless I already know it's sensi )

The alternative, (I once found 35 seeds from one joint), is that the grower took even Less than normal care on his grow.

Believe me when I say that if you show yourself to be a proficient grower, capable in all areas and willing to fore-go the harvest in favour of the knowledge, then there will be a few who will "gift" you with seeds of known genetics.

In other words don't worry so much about the "What" of the grow, as the "how"...

Get that down and you'll have more than enough to play with.

Smiles,
BD

don't be in a hurry ---hast causes mistakes ---and that's ok as long as you dont make it twice---like over fertilizing

work with what you have and practice techniques--definately experiment---when the killer strain crosses your path you will know what to do with it--
