bgetting

I have just found out some good info about grafting, and was curious if anyone had some input on stock strains. I have more info in a thread under Theories, but I was curious about how people felt for strain selection.
For a rootstock I was thinking about a dwarfing plant, or one with smaller, bushier tendencies. Please throw out your favorites, and why.
For a scion strain, I thought that maybe a vigorous or big producer woudl be the best, after all, the idea is to get more herb. Again, any favorites and why?
I think it may be time for some experimentation.
