I am looking for a fairly easy growing sativa I think.

I have never grown before but would like to someday sooner than later. I am looking for a plant that can produce an energetic high. I don't like to feel stoned and tired if you know what I mean. It is not bad sometimes but I would much rather have a nice energetic light high.

I need something that is harty enough to live if I over water or burn it trying to get things right.

Good germ ratio is good also because I don't want to have more than 2 at most going. I would have a hard time killing one on purpose. Seems like such a waste of life if ya know what I mean.

I also need it to be from good genetics. I would not like to have to worry so much about herming. It has been brought to my attention that genetics play a pretty big roll in the herming of otherwise wonderful female plants. Also please leave out the strains that tend to male out of you if you are not taking perfect care. I know that all will but some more than others I am sure.

Well, I think my laundry list is finished for now. I hope all you experts out there are willing to help me out here. I thought that Northern Lights would be what I was looking for, but I read that it gives a stoney like high that I do not want... at least for my first grow.

Also... I will be growing in soil if that makes a differance. Hydro intenidates me a bit right now. Will be using eather Fox Farms or Earth Juice. Earth Juice is more readily avalible to me. I have yet to find a store that carries FF around me. Even the ones that they say on there site don't

Oh yeah.... Low oder also please. I don't want to many snoopers even with a carbon filter on the exaust.

As low of oder as possible, and a smoother smoke. Not the burn the hell out of my lungs type. I want to enjoy it.

Man, am I asking for the world or what?

RECAP PLEASE!!!!

In order of importance

1) Energetic light high... no stoned out of my mind, I just want to sleep high please.
2) Easy to grow for a very beginner.
3) Low oder
4) Good solid genes, low herm and male ratios if possible.

may I suggest Pure Power Plant. Its a total sativa pertty easy. Out of the first 2 and only 2 I have yet to germ out of my pack I bought made 1 male and 1 female and I got about 120 seeds and some killer bud. Now I have 8 perchased seeds and about 90 PPP seeds left. I have a grow journal called Tripple p where u can look at them.

from www.seedsdirect.to the breeder nirvana and U get it for about $30 for 10 beans plus a freebie. Ask for a nirvana strain u might get it. or maybe Gypsys very berry suprise. Is nice. they also have a skunk #1 freebie which I think is kinda sativa but mroe indica then the PPP. so you'd be set for $30 total. not to bad.

low smell smells like peanut butter and jelly and the thc % is like 19 % or so. so it will be a nice light heady high not a super body stone. I used FF's and its worked perfect for these strains.

As far as a heady/couch lock high, expierement with harvest times.
If the trichs are mostly amber you should get a couch lock high.
Harvest earlier when fewer of the trichs are amber and you should get a much headier high.

I am sure it is strain dependent as well.

hey big bud , may i suggest MaStEr KuSh....a indica / sativa mix with high THC content, heavy yield, and a easy to grow factor.....really hard to mess this strain up. as long as you've read 40 hours on this site then i'm sure you'll be happy with this easy to grow strain. good smoke in my opinion and not to heady and not too zoney.

i've grown KuSh on Fox Farms fertz and can really say i am happy with their products....tho i havent really used any other fertz besides FF and Whitney Farms(organic also). so my vote is for FF.

Funny thing is that the more I read the more Questions I come up with. The more I read the more I realize there is to learn.

Soon I will have read enough to feel comfortable trying a grow on my own. To tell you the truth I do not smoke much at all. I am more interested in the actual grow and making it a success than I am the resulting weed. Don't get me wrong. I like a really nice high but I hate the stoned feeling unless "it's friday and i aint got **** to do" Then I like it but I would much rather have a really nice up lifting high. There is a time and a place for both. I will prolly grow a stoney high on my second grow so I can chose for myself.

so have you decided on a particular strain yet big bud? sounds like your going for a sativa strain......and as i am a light toker myself.....about once a day and at night....i really am growing weed to supply my own high quality weed, and i also enjoy the dynamics of taking a seed thru it's growth stages ..... sprout , veg , flower, harvest and curing. and if done right i can really sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labor which i see as half the fun in growing cannabis.
