I've just joined this site and i love u all because u are so helpful and answer immediately to ones quaries. I've been smoking for about two years off and on, somewhere like 4 joints a week and we have different weed shops on the low and u get a different smoke from each. 1) Sometimes u get a high THC percentage (which makes me flyyyyy). 2) Others have sweeter taste but less THC, 3) Some are greener looking freshly cured and a better smoke but doesnt turn out so. 4) There are some with high scent with less THC I dont know the cannabis genetics. I need a teacher .... Can someone take the time out to make a list of a) The types of cannabis b) THC Content c) Scent (sweet, bitter etc.) In Advance........Thankyou!!! PS. Please be descriptive (vivid descriptions) ![]()

![]() | "Can someone take the time out to make a list of " a) The types of cannabis We were discussing this in another thread. The sub species of Cannabis break into three types... ruderalis, sativa, and indica. A plant can also exhibit a combination of characteristics of any two well as well as all three. b) THC Content This varies from variety to variety. There are at least hundreds of varieties that have been assigned names for some reason or another. You can see them by looking through seed bank catalogs. Many time they will have a picture and description. In most cases they won't tell you what the % THC is for a few reasons. 1 There are many chemicals in Cannabis that produce psychoactive effects and it is not so much the quantity of one as it is the combination and ratios of all of them that produces these effects. 2 Not all of them have been tested for THC% because the testing process is usually outside the expertise of growers and breeders and would require a private lab or some expensive equipment, both of which would cost a more money. 3 THC% can vary greatly based on the environment that the Cannabis is produced in. While you might be able to nail down a range it probably would not be very narrow. c) Scent (sweet, bitter etc.) Many seed bank catalogs will do their best to describe the odors of the varieties they sell. Personally I think if a picture is worth a thousand words then an odor is worth a million. You have to smell it to really understand it. This probably isn't what you wanted to hear but I'm trying to be as clear as I can be. Hope this helps. sc
