Pick a strain, any strain
permalink

ive been searchin for the perfect strain for my grow for quite awhile now and unfortunately my fears about genetics playing a much bigger role than harvest time in terms of the type of high produced have been confirmed..im lookin for a strain that produces a strong head high but is still at least somewhat easy to grow indoors for a first timer..im gonna be growin in soil in a closet area that is 3ftx3.5ftx7ft..

ive done some more research and ive narrowed down my strain choices to Durban Poison, Flo, White Widow or Power Plant.

so my question is: which of these strains (or others) would you suggest? ive never smoked or talked to anyone who has smoked or grew any of these strains so im a little too uninformed..so far Power Plant sounds the best in terms of ease, yeild, etc. but im not completely sold yet..

so anyone who would like to share any stories about smokin/growin any of these strains id love to hear about it

Hey seeingreen

Well, the White Widow can be a real pain in the a** to grow. It's moody with nutes. Well mine are...and I've read this on many occasions from other growers. Not bad to grow with a little experience, but probably not a great beginners choice.

I've heard good things about Durban as a heady buzz, but I have no experience completing a Durban Poison grow yet. Flo & PPP are good.

It seems like you're looking for a specific buzz. Something very heady and off the beaten path. Something potent, but doesn't leave you mouth breathing.

I'd like to suggest that you look into some NYCD (New York City Diesel), or a good Diesel cross. It's a different trippy kinda high.

There are others like Train Wreck, Kali, G13, etc., and then there are the ultra potent med strains like Somatooth2, LifeSaver from BOG, and others. The med strains may not be what you want. They can be powerful past the point of fun, and some people that don't use them for med reasons don't care for them because they knock you out cold.

The Diesel though...that may be where you want to check

I would go with one of the white families. White Widow. I would also look at Mazar and Master Kush, 15-20% THC. Plus the yield is very good!

Go with an indica frm Nirvana, Mandala, or KC Brains. But if u really wan sativa influence go with a hybrid. For ex. Mandala's Sadhu, Satori or Kalichakra.Nirvana's Afghani, Auroa indica,Fourway,Jock Horror, K2, KC33/Masterkush,maroc/afghan, Blue Mystic, Papaya, Shiva, Most of the Skunks, Top44 or Silver Pearl. KC Brains indoor Strains. If u want Premium genetics for a cheap price go with Sensi, Mr Nice,Paradise,Flying Dutchmen,THSeeds or Dutch Passion's indoor Mix. Just Stay Away From The White strains, they are difficult to grow and low yield. Also the pure sativa strains unless it says specifically for growing indoor, peace dawg

I also lust after the heady rush, My top 3 and one of which I will be growing is Cinderella99 (C99) Belladonna, or Strawberry Cough. I hear Casey Jones is a good Head High as well,

I was fortunate enough to acquire some C99XJack Herer(another heady strain) so that's my next effort. Good luck in finding "The Strain" I think we are all looking for that one
