Hi i was just looking in a high times mag awhile back and saw a plant that had what appeared to have blue buds... I thought it may have been a computer affect lighting effect or some other sort. Again today i was browsin around the awsome pic galleries and saw it again and now i have to ask if this is not something new...or is it a effect of some kind? if this is a strain i would be very happy to find it out.thanks.

blue mystic? im new so i could be wrong but i saw it when i was deciding on which strain to go with i think it may be blue hence the name? lol but dont hold me too it good luck in ur quest for the blue bud lol one things for sure if there is such a thing as blue bud someone here is gonna know about it so u are in the right place my friend.

There are a few strains actually that have a slight blueish / lavender color on their buds. Blue Satellite, Blueberry, and Blue Moonshine are the first to come to mind, but I'm sure there are tons more. There are a few seedbanks that have a search option available. Simply type in blue and every strain that has anything to do with the color will show up. Good luck to you!

There was a strain that was discovered several years ago that had a wierd but awesome genetic anomaly that made the whole plant purple/blue. It first appeared on c-bay I believe. If I remember correctly a seedbank bought the seeds in the netherlands? but they havent been sold on the internet that I have ever seen. I know that Dr Greenthumb seeds was trying to obtain this some time ago because I read it on his site but nothing ever came of them. Bad ass looking plant if you can find pics of it.

ya but high times do add effect to almost all pic...
blue, one of the most amazing colors of the world, its true some bud dose have a hew of blue in it... but a bud being a noticable blue havent seen one... been looking for years non...

If you lower the temperatures during flowering, all marijuana takes on a purple hue TO A CERTAIN EXTENT. If your strain naturally has som purple/blue in it, it will blow up and be purple/blue all over.

I'm not sure of the exact temperature needed, but that should send you in the right direction.

i just finished some shiva, that ended up being purple/lavender. I think mine was from the drastic change in temps i had (heater timer failed, and cold nights). Out of 5 strains grown, this was the only that went purple.

Hi thanx for all the feedback!! I am gonna try to post these pix there from the gallery under shooters second grow. This is unreal i meen its not a hint of blue its vivid light blue check it out!!!

That shit looks like it has miraclegro spilled all over it!

If that is not doctored, that is some amazing weed. I don't think it is either, because you can see the buds in the back with the blue hints that are out of focus. Unless that cat is really good with photoshop.
