Hey there ppl i just bought some EarlyWonderSkunk seeds and suposedly they are an extremely fast finishing plant (outdoors you can get 2 yeilds a growing season) but i was wondering, is there something special about the plant being grown outside that this certain strain likes so much that it finishes so quickly or would that strain grow just as fast or faster indoor? the seeds were marked as just outdoor when i bought them but i was curiouse so i thought id ask PEACE AND POT!!!!

There are some strains that are better suited for outdoor growing, but this doesn't mean that you can't grow them indoors as well. You might have to flower less than you would with a regular indica type strain, but this is a positive! Early Wonder Skunk sounds like a nice strain. What's the parentage like on that? Sounds like it's got Early girl and William's Wonder in it.

Generally some- or all-sativa plants are designated for outdoor/greenhouse grows, because they need a lot of light and they grow pretty big. But if the plant is early flowering, it's only because it's a sativa cross, but probably not a sativa dom because I believe long flowering time is a dominant trait. The phenotype has a lot to do with the strain genetics. Skunk #1 is a mostly indica cross while Dutch Passion Flo is a mostly sativa cross. And of course there's also variability within a given strain.
