Rate what you've grown!

Ok I hope this weekly (sometimes daily) updated chart will be a guide to
helping people find the strain that they want. Some people want potency,
others want yield, while still some want ease to grow. So to solve that,
The charts below will show what you the people have grown, and what
rating you would give the many famous strains out there in the different
Categories.

First up is potency. This shouldn’t be confused with THC or CBD %, but
simply the effects are from its consumption. I started a thread awhile
back, http://www.gardenscure.com/420/showthread.php?t=75697
That thread covered this pretty well so ive taken the list there and used
it as a model for the new charts. Being kinda lazy, ive also used it as
the start for the potency charts. Kinda like a head start.

An example listing:
Strain: Mr. Nice
Breeder/Seed Bank: Sensi Seeds
Potency: 1 - dirt. 10 - dibilitating.

Note that for now, anything given a rating over 10 is now a 10+.



Next we have yield. Now for some, this is a really big reason for
choosing a strain. Me personally, not so much, but i know there are
many with tons of exp on super yielders. Now for the rating system in
this chart to work, when anyone gives a rating, also tell us the method
used to grow. I.E. tree, SOG, ScrOG, LST, Supercropping, Heavy Co2,
ect. Really anything that you think you do special.

An example for a yield rating would be:
Strain: Blueberry
Breeder/Seed Bank:DJ Short Orig
Method: Tree/Soil
Yield:1 - really bad. 10 - huge harvest.



Finally we have ease to grow. For the first time grower, these strains
are a must to try. No grower can deny how nice it is to have a strain just
respond perfectly to whatever you want to do to it. For this chart its
pretty straight forward, and very similar to the Yield chart. I felt that the
method growing would help further define the ease to growing that strain
for the first time grower.

Strain: Northern Lights #5
Breeder/Seed Bank: Sensi Seeds
Method: LST/Organic
Ease to Grow: 1 - Extremely Hard to keep healthy. 10 - A breeze to grow.



Ok so the one thing I do ask is that you give ratings for strains that
you've grown. Not what you've heard on the grapevine. Im hoping that
with that, a true look at what the
strains can do without having to grow them.

Im sure im forgetting something but eh, its late.

K2 by Nirvana is a relatively easy plant to grow. It is a very hungry strain and requires above normal nutrient levels. K2 finishes quick in about 7 weeks and produces some dense, sugar coated nugs. Trimming is a nightmare, K2 is a very leafy plant. One way to combat this is to take away half of the N during the 2nd semester of flowering.

All in all I'd have to say that this is a wonderful plant for any beginner and one of the best strains that Nirvana offers.

CR was a really easy strain to grow. I loved the colorful buds at harvest time. Hues of red, blue, yellow, and green made this a rainbow of bud for all to enjoy. You might want to invest in a carbon scrubber if you grow this strain and smell is a problem for you. The buds swelled up huge with a very high calyx to leaf ratio, so trimming was a breeze.

While I was at NaturesHigh, we added a smoke report.
This would be a great addition in my opinion. I always noted
Smell, Taste, and then the way it affected me.

What is nice is that your get a grow report plus the way the strain smoked and made you feel.
Maybe it would be a good strain for pain relief or appitite stimulation. I guess it would just be a nice addition to the other information that your are complying.

I guess from here on any additions to the list should also have a smoke report. Ill add a new chart for that. While I can see some people saying that it could be apart of the potency, I think since alot of medical users are looking for a certain type of relief, it would be great!
