Was reading through the Grow Guide today and had a couple of suggestions.

1. There's really no discussion of indoor construction & security techniques and methods in the Grow Guide. I've seen lots of nu-b's post with their "innovative ideas" about construction, smell control, etc. A section on this I think would be helpful. I'll volunteer to write it if no one objects.

1. The grow guide kind of poo-poo's the use of fluoros, but there's no mention of EVLs. I am not alone in growing with EVLs, even if it's only in veg. I know these are relatively new on the market, but I think they've been around long enough and proven by members of this community to be included in the G.G.

2. There is really no discussion of pH drift in the document at all. I recall seeing a fine chart showing the availability of nutrients at different pH, but it's not in the grow guide (there is one in there but the one I saw was better).

i was kinda poking through the grow guide, Etc. looking for an easily available organic soil mix, but ended up in the library before i found any.
i seem to remember a thread by OP "sound off on soil mix" or something but i couldn't find it.
a couple of different mixes in the organic section would be cool.

(BTW, i have "The Encyclopedia Of Organic Gardening" but for some reason is not one of their covered plants)

Gee, I wonder why not?? Now that MJ is legal in 7 states for medicinal users, I think you should write to the publisher and ball 'em out
