According to the grow guide:

Quote:
Cannabis is harvested when the flowers are ripe. The best indicator of ripeness is the color of the flower's pistils. Over the course of the flowering period, these pistils begin to die and, depending on the strain, turn different shades of brown, orange, and so on. Many cultivators choose to harvest when 60-75% of the pistils, or 'hairs' have changed colors.
Trichomes are a much better indicator of ripeness. Some plants are ripe and ready to harvest when only a few % of the pistils have turned. Pistils can also turn early for various reasons (such as pollination).

When to Harvest is a better guide.

Yes, can that please be corrected?

There is always such confusion with new growers on when to take down their plants..... And it would be cool to have the right info right in the guide.....

Sorry I forgot about this.

Well for isn't it easier for them to use pistols as the meter? Thats how I did it for year sna kinda still do.

That guide is a good one and prime candidate for the Adv Grow Guide IMO for sure... I'll try to get time to convert it to html and post it up this week.

the Advanced Grow Guide is not available at the moment. there are plans to revamp the current grow guide and advanced sections. It is all still in developmental stages.
