Hey folks & garderners! I have a qeustion for anyone with experiens from growing Ruderalis?! They do not mature by photosynth, but by age! The one i have now is about 95days, very bushy and approx. 25" in lenght! My question is: When does it start flowering?! Cant see any yet anyway! After a rather succesful straining, it exploded in like 15-20 new shoots!!

Strange... Rudealis should start flowering really quick... It should have finished like 50 days ago... Are you sure on the sp?

Or might it be a cross.. From what I understand not all crosses aquire the autoflowering quality so it might be that..

You wrote Rudealis indica in the head of your thread, is that the strain? I belive it is only 90% or so autoflowering(not sure though)..

This is from a strainthread on swecan(sorry non swedes I'm to lazy to translate):

”Ruderalis Indica"

Väljer att nämna denna sort sist eftersom jag misstänker att ruderalis genen försvunnit ur utsädet? För av de 18 plantor (10 honor, 8 hanar) som överlevde tills det var dags att blomma förra säsongen så var samtliga (!) Indica dominanta 12/12 blommare. Förkultiverade inomhus under april som sig bör, ut i maj, samtliga började blomma runt 14 september, blä. En varning här alltså. Sensi Seeds.

Well if its a cross breed you have to find out which is more dominant within the hybrid you are trying to grow. If it was predominantly ruderalis it would have flowered after about two weeks of vegging, and it would still flower like that if you 24 hours of light on it at all times. But it seems as thought the indica is showing dominant genes when it comes to flower, next time get something like lowryder which autflowers right away.

Hey Swede Guy... Welcome to the site.

Have you tried using the search feature? I think you'll find a lot of information on self-flowering strains like LowRyder....
I grew a couple of self-flowering strains, one started flowering in July. Last year I grew a LR/MasterKush strain and it started flowering in August.
What's the weather like in Stockholm at this time of year? I don't understand how you can have a plant outdoors for 95 days now?

Peace-
OD

It's a great looking plant.
Did you grow from seed?
Do you know what the strain is?

I have a Ruderalis Indica from Sensi Seed Bank growing now that I planted outside in mid January and it started flowering at the begining of March (I think - check my journal for ref).

This was a test to see how quick it would auto-flower- and its pretty quick!!

The light is also 12/12 here at the moment with the days getting longer, and I plant early to try to pull a little harvest in Apr/May.

Peace

Dreadking
