pots for outdoors

im going to be bringing my seedlings out into the wild soon for my first guerilla grow. i am planing to plant in pots that will be in holes in the ground to conceal them. but what my question is, is how big of a pot? will a 10" pot handle it or will that be too small? or would a 5 gallon bucket be better?

There are reasons why people want to plant in smaller containers. Height being the main reason, I think. Although, outdoors, tying down can take care of height issues.

If you are not concerned about height then go with the largest pot you can manage or plant directly into the ground for the biggest plant and the best yield.

I would assume that the reason you want to go into pots is so that you could move them if necessary. If that's not it and you're digging holes for your pots, put the plant right into that hole.

Peace-
OD

There really is no right way to grow, you have to resonate with a style and learn what you can,
tweak it to your own style and raise the bar each grow... OD '07

I'm using 5gals.

There was a pic around here of someone using a garbage can for a plant and it grew pretty big.

I'd go with the 5gal pots if you can. If height is an issue you can always train/ tie down which id recommend anyways. Last years grow i tied down half and they all grew bigger and more yield to the ones i didn't.
