| I have a small operation going quite well, but when i checked my babies today, i noticed one of them had one twisted leaf. It is about a week old, and is now forming it's second set of leafs. Ive noticed that the lower two ( the largest ), a set of leafs forming on their sides. The uppermost leafs look healthy, and so does the plant in general. It is about 2 1/2 weeks old and 2.5-3 inches tall. It all looks good except the one of the larger leafs is beginning to twist abit. More info is in my grow diary on this site. I need advise, could somebody tell me what to do? | ||

![]() | I just checked my plants, and I have the same problem. One of the leaves on a plant that is 3" tall just twisted around. I transplanted 2 days ago. I think it might be overwatered, cause its been raining non stop for the past few days. Could that be it? I haven't noticed that much growth really, but hopefully thats cause its been cloudy all day long for the last few days also.

So no one else has experienced this? I have a plant that is 8 days old, at 7 days one leaf from the first set has twisted about 90 degrees. The plant looks healthy otherwise, third set of leaves coming out already. Should I worry? I'm not too worried since the plant looks healthy. Any suggestions?

![]() ![]() ![]() | Sometimes leaves just grow wonky. If the plants were outdoors, I would make sure there wasn't a larval insect of some sort sticking the leaf parts together, but if it is just one random weird leaf, it is not a worry.

![]() | thanks 3hounds. I'm kinda thinking its because the leaf isn't high enough on the stem to grow over the top of the cup, and has therefore rotated 90 degrees and is growing with the curve of the cup. Sounds good anyway.
