mattdreads lookin good V!

I wouldn't worry too much about the yellowing, it sounds to me like it's just using the nutes from the leaves earlier, which may mean a bit less yeild but usually also means a nicer smoke

Thanks so much, Didn't know why, and couldn't understand why 1 plant still very green w/little yellowing and 1 yellowing like crazy, same diet for both, and your so correct, the yeild is looking to be a bit smaller! You rock! Thanks for looking out!

Hey Folks,

...i'm sorry to hear about folks having to deal with rippers , and serious mold issues

so i'm am very grateful for my harvest. My Purple Bubbicious was able to reach maturity (they started budding on July 15th) and they didn't have any mold issues, but the bagseed sativa girls were harvested a week ago (about 3-4 weeks sooner than i would have liked) because of mold...

i cut out all the moldy buds and i've been drying them in my shed for the past week. I've been checking on them regularly and using a fan from time to time. Fortunately the weather's been cooperating and there doesn't seem to be any further mold issues...

Here's a look at the girls in the shed...

peace,

The pistils on my Sativa look like they are pollinated, but they are not.

The first 3 pics show the brown pistils.
The next shot is a related Sativa that is flowering earlier than the original and it doesn't have the browning tips.

The only thing that I did was to spray with Greencure yesterday to control mold (which seems to be working on the indica bed-no mold in the Sativa bed.
Could Greencure be the cause of this?

The last shot is some Indica that is almost READY

It's been a bad year outdoors for me this year. Then again I didnt invest much because my mind was focused on what I got going on indoors. This is a relative of some NL bag seed I accidently created from an indoor project. Should have tossed these seeds last summer. This is not a potent plant but maybe in a month things might change but im not holding my breath. The small clone is in recovery mode after my nube mistake of planting in to large of container and ph fluctuations.

Here she comes, just walking down my street. Havent seen her since.

I figured out what happened with the browning pistils.

If you are using Greencure to control mold don't do it in the sun.
I think it may burn just a bit. Not only did the pistils brown a bit but the tender leaf tips are also a bit burned.

This happened to my sativa but not as pronounced in my indica.

I think I will wait until the evening to spray next time.

Time for some Beastie Bloomz and Cha-Ching.

Very interesting...

...just read a little about Greencure. Their website claims it's effective in prevention of "Gray mold"...which i'm assuming is problem that a lot of us have been facing this season, especially with our sativas.

The Greencure website says i can be used on fruits, herbs and veggies, so spraying it on something that will later be smoked is presummably ok too???

I'd be very interested to learn more.

Thanks for the info...

peace,

if not, that's something that water curing could take care of. but for some of my fellow growers they'd need a swimming pool for that.
