Im more than very pleased with this batch. What I mean is it's very stoney pot. Blows away most anything ive done recently. I thought my tolerance was high but I sure find myself smoking less to get very blazed. I think the extra week of waiting for the amber trich's to show paid off. Also grown outdoors the bud gets me way higher than tons of bud ive done indoors. Ive been wondering about this question for years. Indoor bud or outdoor bud? My expierience is this outdoor batch is stronger than anything I can remember in the last ten years or so and ive grown some stanky stuff over the years to speak with expierience on this one guys.

I was reading and this may have included myself at times, growers take their plants down to soon before they reach their full potential. This year I think I got lucky with some good genetics that were potent, liked my climate, went the distance without weather causing an early takedown which is resulting in this mind numbing pot. It will knock my ass out all day if im not carefull with it.

Dont eat cannabutter cokies late at night like I did. You will wake up several hours later pretty spun with an upset stomach. In my case I overdid it. Those evil cookies are still on the sink as a reminder. Need to give those a break for awhile. Will bake something when old friend comes back from NY and surprise him and warn him at the same time.

With this last harvest that didnt come with an electric bill attached and is outshining any indoor bud ive had in recent memory...........

Congratulations everyone on a great outdoor grow.
Some years are better than others, no doubt about it
but growing outdoors is a passion like no others.

And smoking outdoor organically grown bud is nothing
like none other....

May everyone have an opportunity to enjoy some
outdoor grown bud.

Peace- OD

There really is no right way to grow, you have to resonate with a style and learn what you can,
tweak it to your own style and raise the bar each grow... OD '07

I've heard it both ways swordfish. So far my experience has been the same as yours, the outdoor grown has always been better. But then again, I don't feel I have perfected the indoor thing as well as the outdoor - not that THAT is perfect but you know what I mean, just a figure of speech. Supposedly the indoor is more potent because it isn't subject to weather extremes that can damage the trichomes. I did an indoor grow this year too and I must say that the trichomes were so abundant that they seemed to be stacked on top of each other. I had a light issue which caused them to finish later. We'll soon see how they compare to the outdoor. They're curing now. Same strains too so it should be a fairly good experiment. Not sure how the light thing will effect potency tho.

Yea ive grown some stunning looking plants indoors myself that get lots of trich's but the ultra strong intense uvb light the outdoor plants get affect those trichomes in ways we cant perceive in relationship to the stoneyness factor, or the punch it delivers. Some have said indoor pot is missing its genetic potential when it cant absorb the required amount of uvb rays to satisfy its need to get you incredibly stoned for along time. Reptisun 10.0 desert bulbs in tubes and in cfl form are a friggin joke along with all your HID equiptment compared to SoCal sunshine for 5+ months that it takes to grow a plant outdoors here. If your on a timetable, better stick to indoor.

You would think properly outdoor grown would be better since that is the natural way of growth. Im sure their is some weed scientist out there who knows.

sorry didn't talk at rep the other day, but parents visiting so has been frantic and mad.

I agree that you cannot beat the individualty and tastes of organic outdoor; but i am getting close bringing outdoor thoughts indoors. For phosphorous kick Matt Dreads kindly recommended in flower, i burnt bones and crushed them.

Soil mix under construction is getting pond algae, which is said to be another source.

Outdoor here is under attack from heat, lost some, worried about some and actually brought a couple of favourites back home in fear lol Went from mid 20's to high 30's in a week, am regrouping for another go.

Glad your well, take care. nigel
