![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I started the peppers from seeds this year but i usualy buy the starts from a local nursery. Funds we're a little tight so that 99 cent pack of seeds looked good enough. I planted 2 in each hole in a jiffy pellet and all of them came up. I kept the pellets very moist because they tend to dry fast. It took a good three weeks for them to sprout, very slow germinating they were. I used to have a very large vegitable garden in FL but dont have the room these days. I'll try to dig up a picture or two. | ||

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well my second bed is starting to take shape. Gopher guards in place. Need to sink a large plastic tub for the flowers the girlfriend enjoys and refuses to let me destroy in place of some veggies. So The flowers will stay but I will be digging them up soon because I need the first bed for tomatoes. The weather has cooled off some so I moved all the veggies and MJ plants inside under 1000w for the time being. They are only getting around 13 hours of sunlight, so the lights inside will match whats going on outside. The veggies will stay under the light 24/7 or maybe 18/6 if the weather stays disagreeable. I have a shed I can move the MJ plants into until dawn and pray for a sunny day so I can avoid useing the indoor lighting. I like to use it for young starts only and grow outside if at all possible. The beds in these pictures when fully planted out will help conceal a greenhouse I will introduce everyone to at a later time. Happy growing and dont forget those critters will eat your plants so take precautions.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well, I got a lot of help with my soil plants in my journal, they're thriving now! WR x TT #1 and #6 seem the most vigorous, I think I'll concentrate on them for cloning, but I'll try at least 6 of the females. Still at 6 females and 3 males, they've slowed right down at showing sex for a few days. Hey, any advice appreciated, does showing sex early seem to correlate with fast/short flowering time? With a new run, that's all I can think of to go by. Analog style clones, directly into pots, on first 6 females over my nice warm light. ![]() WR x TT #1, back rear, seems most vigorous, I like the short, fat leaves. ![]() In the 1 gal pots, WR x TT #6 on the left, though the last of the original 6 to show sex, another vigorous grower. #5 on the right, a little slower to recover from my original mistakes. Showing Mg defic since day one, def from the WR side, they're Mg hogs, TT is a nute sipper. ![]()

This is just my guess but I think it might. this is my first year growing a couple "early" strains with really short flowering periods. and they seem to be showing sex when they are still growing their second and third set of leaves. and yes, those WRxTT look very sexy. I like the shape and colour.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | it is, not sure how you'd keep a lady bug around though. if i take my eye off of them they always disappear, like they know they are being watched.
