Dr. Green, perhaps you should take cuttings off that female to guarantee that you grow all females.

These seem to be the girls. Cant say for sure on the short little indicas called "ogre" or at least that was the elite clone I grew out and it produced a dozen seeds. These 4 in the ground are showing promise and I have high hopes on 2-3 of them hopefully are girls.

The hybrid looking sativas are being trained to stay low. I pushed the growth thru a tomatoe cage and pinned it down so it grows low and wide.

The plants at my gorilla site are thriving but still unsexed but I think there are a few ladys there as well mixed in. It's usually dark when I visit my secret patch to bring in water twice a week. In a few weeks ill put up a report on my gorilla garden.

Swordfish those plants are looking good. Can hardly wait to see what they look like in September!
Oh man I tell ya, too many tourists out this weekend and also extra police patrols and I just think this is the weekend for me to lay low. I'll check out my guerrilla grow later this week to see if any footprints are around. But really my site is so damn hard to get to I can't imagine anyone would go there. Lots of bear tracks and poop around my site. Hope it doesn't decide to eat my plants!
I began to set up my irrigation system. As long as the tiny stream retains some flow (say 1.5 gallons per hour) I should have a good system. Basically have a 30 gallon plastic tub with a spigot near the bottom that has a water timer attached to it and drip irrigation running out of the timer.
Okay, so here are the strains I'm dealing with:
First one is Northern Lights X Big Bud. Second one is unknown but maybe shiva. Third one is The Church. Fourth one is an unknown Mango (maybe KC Brains). Seems like my unknown purple photo didn't make it. I'll try that one again.

By the way. I have a medical card and am state legal.

Ive been trying to visit my remote site every fourth day to bring in water and nutes and a few extra plants here and there. I need to visit and pack in my water in large 5 gallon camo painted jugs. Sometimes when im ambitious I will deliver the water a day or two ahead of time and cover it in some dense brush. Dureing the very hot summer days in a few months time if all go's well I will need to be delivering around 20 gallons twice a week. Maybe I can make all my water deliveries a few weeks in advance if I get some more containers. Since the plants are young im not needing the amount of water I might need if I "Get Lucky" at this gorilla spot later. It's always a bit of a mystery how much water they might be capable of drinking should they take a good hold in the terrain. I didnt pack in a tremendous amount of soil per hole I dug because the native soil had abundant vegetation all around and the soil seemed rich enough. I boosted it with some chicken compost and a bag or two of OF here and there.
I despise useing these hardware cloth cages because they stand out somewhat. It doesnt really matter however because if someone were to stumble upon my grow they would need to navigate past lots of natural obstacles I have arranged like a movie set around any access points. I need to artfully replace all this native brush each and every time I leave to act as a natural barrior. I find if you arrange native brush accross your trail entrance others will find a better place to hike or explore.

as im backing out of my spots i usually do it in two or three places so even if they made it past the first one the next few would hopefully deter them the other way..i use blackberry vines and those thorny vines that get real thick and make dense cover...i always seem to come home bleeding..but i feel safer knowing i did that.

but then again my couple of spots are surrounded by water on almost every side and the 'skeetos back in there are reeediculous.. i have to soak down to go back there and that was before all this nasty rain we just got...its gonna be retarded now with all that stagnant water for em to breed...

im thinking of taking a few healthy, decent sized strawberry cough and my mystery bluebery cuts and putting them out. if i take em here in the next few days i should be able to get em out by the end of the first week in june....hopefully...

both of yalls plants are lookin lovely. this thread is gonna be sweet this year, lots of bud porn to come...

I've been thinking about cutting some clones off her... she's a beauty.

but... then i just keep thinking that everytime I cut it ill be delaying its growth that would have otherwise just budded on the one plant.

so whats better? one nice big plant. or a bunch of little guys.

Oh man, that is the question. Good side and bad side to each. Some states, like Oregon, set a limit on the number of flowering plants allowed under medical guidelines. There is no size limit on the plants however so it makes sense to grow monsters. Big dense buds tend to mold easier in my experience. So lots of medium-small buds would be better for that issue, but large buds take less time to trim per weight and have more visual ("bag') appeal. Small plants can be hidden easier then large plants. A bunch of tiny plants can be grown discretely while a 10 foot tall plant is considerably harder to keep low key. One big plant is easier to keep an eye on and take good care of, but if something goes wrong you're in trouble. Lots of small plants take more time to take care of, but if one gets sick and dies, or eaten, or moldy, you haven't lost everything.
