Outdoors asked me about my raised bed and how many plants I plan on useing it for. Im not going to use it for MJ at all. It is a precaution of sorts. I grew an incredibly large plant at the location where the bed is now and I am sure the neighbors next door were aware of my monster plant I had growing there at one time. I dont want to press my luck useing that same location twice and besides my patio fencing has been reconfigured to provide less secure views into my yard. This means I will be useing other areas hopefully diverting anyones attention from the previous area. When and if they look over their wall next summer they will see tomatoes in my raised bed and be convinced I changed my ways. Im legal but still dont wish to flaunt my activities if I can keep things under wraps.

I am also contemplating an outdoor grow this coming spring, of course I have no idea when the mid Atlantic is gunna be ready for my little seedlings. I am sure I am gunna use my collection of bagseed for this grow. I think I am gunna veg more plants then I can keep in my indoor grow and move all the less desirable genetics outside sometime in march.... Well I cant wait to start this hopefully I get some monster plants with some epic buds

Well, if my work schedule changes stay the same, I'll need to have plants that will take care of themselves because I may not have much time to help them along.

ive been growing outdoors for the last 3 outdoor seasons, years. the first grow was a bunch of different strains, the second grow was mostly ak-47. the third grow was all gdp. i think the first grow i put the clones out in june, and i got around 4lbs, but it was when i didnt trim very tight and kept a lot of popcorn buds that was included in the final weight. second year/grow, i believe i put them out late, and i got around 12oz of average AK-47 smoke. the third year, i grew all gdp, and this is a very indica dom strain, i put them out in may, and got like 3-4oz of slightly above average gdp smoke. i live near the coast, so the humidity affects me much sooner earlier in the flowering game. i have to harvest sooner. i need a outdoor strain that finishes super early for me, yet yields great, and has above average smoke.

yeah discingolfer, the whole eastern half of the country is fixin to get it hard. i feel bad for all of you guys n gals up higher than south carolina and oklahoma. its gonna be cooooooooooooooooold up there through the week.

freedomrider, me and my girlfriends mom split a ten pack and so far all 5 have given me problems sprouting. i did the soak in a cup of ph'd water(5.5-6.0) until they cracked open then just before the taproot started coming out i set them about 1/8-1/4" into some FF seed starter mix and kept it moist n warm but no action. my girls mom had trouble with hers to and she did them in the paper towel method. maybe we just got a bad batch.

ive never had any problems before sproutin seeds so i know the method works. i was reading through the mandala page on germinating and they talk about how fresh seeds dont need to be soaked cause they still have water inside the embryo. soaking them they say will overdo it and cause them to get yellow and rot. i dont know if this is what happened but i did squish one bean to see what it looked like in there and it squished out white not yellow.

Im thinkin of orderin some fem seeds of the papaya. but to be honest all this talk of mandala genetics and the good reports from them i might just invest in some of those. 'specially since most all my growin will be outside this year. the guerilla grow and the stealth backyard grow.
