Hey everybody! Some of you might recognize me from the other site, but this is my first time posting over here. Just wanted to share a shot of my first grow attempt. I have a buddy who has a nice indoor opp going, and we decided to try a couple outdoor plants at my place. Nothing fancy, two plants in pearlite, following his nutes schedule. Seems to be going well. The one on the left was one of his momma plants (Sensi Star) that he has pulled a couple rounds of clones from, now retiring in my yard. The one on the right is Northern Lights I picked up at a co-op. She was about 5 inches tall and looked pretty good, so I thought I would give her a try. For ref. that's a 6 foot fence. If it goes well, next year I will go to the full 6 plants I am "allowed". This is all new to me, but It's been a lot of fun. Even got me into gardening enough to build a 10 x 5 x 3 redwood garden box for organic veggies! I won't ask anything until I have had a chance to really go through this site, but I'm sure I'll have questions eventually. Thanks to everyone here for the photos and advice! Cheers!

Looks like everyone is doing well this summer, some nice looking grows out there.

It's been kinda cool here this year, second coolest on record (around 100 years or so?) I'm finally starting to get my girls in the ground, they've been enjoying life in containers til now. I have some clones getting ready, another week or two to finish rooting, then they'll probably be in pots the remainder of the year.

Been busy with work and what not, hope everyone has a nice summer and I'll be back sometime soon.

Too bad about that chocolope not takin well to our great, (kidding of course), Ontario growin' season...I was really hoping to try this in next seasons grow....

Maybe she will still come around?

Well if I cant have chocolope, at least I got my Chocalate chunk!

Seems like lots of folks workin with green thumbs this season...keep the pics of the outdoor gardens coming....

Hey
Yes I was also greatly disappointed in seeing the way it handles the intense light as i had high hopes for her this summer
BUT
I am happy to say that most of the other strains seem to be doing great outdoors especially the NYC Diesel and the Jack Herer. I haven't really seen a strawberry cough yet but know I put several out there. The write ups says it is not good for outdoors but the strain I have is extremely hardy and I tend to disbelieve this. Oddly enough there are some of the genetypes in the chocolope that have stronger genetic traits than the others. Four out of five of my seeds were very strong growers and one of them was a very sensitive poor grower. I thought it was just a fluke thing but then saw picttures of emails chocolope who gave me the seeds in the first place and noticed that he was probably growing this same genetype chocolope. Sorry email. Later I will order some more and split them with you for your generousity

This will certainly be an interesting experiment if nothing else but I do plan on getting a bit of bud out of it
Thanks guys

This was an indoor start late Feb. that somehow survived being up-rooted twice, transplanted multiple times due to being way unprepared, and multiple insect raids! I cut the top off to harvest what I could before that died...and these two little chutes were all that was left on the long stem! I can't believe the resiliency of this plant...to put up with my complete lack of gardening skills, all that natural abuse, and still be this productive! I must respect the plant that taught me how to grow...so I share her with you now!

Been after this guy for months. He was comeing in under the gate which I fixed some time ago along with some other spots that were covered up with fencing. Sure glad I bought this trap. I usually release them but the hot weather caused this guy to expire before I could get to him. I recognize his markings and size as the offending rabbit ring leader. Should I leave his corpse in the garden for a few days as a deterent to other rabbits who may consider lunching on my plants?

I'd put it's head on a stake in front of your plants. That should do it.
