hi, this is going to be my very first outdoor garden... ive only had experience with indoor purple kush growth, but wasnt too impressed lol... dnt get me wrong, it was oh soo sweet ive easily spent 4903 hours reading and reading about the amazing outdoors lol, but still have a few questions:1. should i top, lst, or play with my clones outdoor? or do they just automatically get really big and bushy like these gorgeous plants near my hometown in norcal?? my strains are gonna be purple kush, grandaddy purple, purps, supersilverhaze, hindu kush x skunk, cheese, and maybe some bluecheese or blueberries im shooting more towards indicas.. check these beauties i was talking about mimicking.. YouTube - July 27 2008 Medical Marijuana Outdoor Grow Op. Northern Cal i plan on digging a few feet into my dark, clay-rich native soil, and fill it back up with some perlite and potting soil... i plan on putting the clones in sometime this week if not next.. i have about 13.5 hrs of sunlight from dawn to dusk... ok, all your help is very much thanked and ya, thanks in advanced!!!! ![]()

He never followed through with a follow up report. I wanted to see those plants in Sept or Oct when they were close to being finished. Yes you should top or LST at the fourth node when the plant is tiny to expect massive results. Spread the resulting growth wide along the ground and tie everything down. You will be rewarded. Start now and forget the containers.

Purple7Loc, i personaly always topped. lst is great indoors, but its harder outside. they will get bushy regardless, considering they get enough sun. if you can give it sun from the time its up till its down, keep it watered, nature pretty much does the rest.

I'm not sure where you live but here in North America it's still very early to be planting outside. Plants will most likely start to flower and then re-vert back to their vegetative stage. I'd wait at least another few weeks before planting outdoors. Just my ![]()
