Hi, this will be my first season growing, so i have a few questions. First of all, i'm plainning on getting 10 early pearl x northern lights seeds and 10 skunk#1 seeds. I live in eastern ontario, would this be good strains for my area? also, how many seeds usually sprout, like what is the ratio? I have a few good growing areas in mind, but a few are a big marshy, im just wondering if the extra water would hurt the plans at all. some areas will also be withinin 20 feet of people walking by. I know there is no way they will see it, but will they be able to smell it? lastly, i am wondering what kind of yield to exptect per plant, taking in to acount this is my first time growing. your help is much appreciated, thanks.

there is a lot of information on this site, including guides etc. youll get a lot more out of that than people's random inputs. you'll get some but not all of the info. as far as the marsh goes. avoid it, and the people. mj doesnt doesnt want the moist soil (think of where it grows naturaly) and even if people cant smell it, they will see you going in, hear you playing with your plants, or randomly stumble upon it. you dont want to lose your hard work so easily.

chimera580---First off welcome to the garden. I'm not the much for outside growing, but the skunk strain and 20 ft away, I'd think they will be thinking there are skunks in the area and smell that one for sure and if the wind was just right, most definately smell it. Most places you get your seeds from having a sprouting ratio, and they usually run 80% or higher at least. Now older seeds, then you have to take into account their age, how they were stored, and then most importantly how they are attempted to be sprouted, meaning indoors with paper towel method, or outdoors and just thrown in the soil and anywhere inbetween with so many methods. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | marsh can be a problem. ive stood in it on those 6 am mornings, and its like a big water cloud hovering above it. not good for the roots, or the buds. cannabis prefers dry-moist soil, over mostly soaked. and yields immpossible to guess man. i know we all wish we knew what we were getting. but from one outdoor grower to another, yield should be the last thing on your mind right now. their is no guarentee those plants will be waiting ready for harvest, you have to get them their, and hope nobody else does first.
