I suggest one plant per hole, but that's just me.

Yes, well the bags of soil i got were 15 liters each and it took six bags to fill the hole thats how i know how big the whole is. just just wondering if 3 plants is too much and if they should grow alright...i dont think the roots will grow through the clay that is only a few feet below the ground surface..so the whole is about 4 feet deep.
any comments are appreciated.
thanks

if its a giant hole why only put one plant?

instead of a hole, id probably do a row next time, and plant clones every 2 feet. row's only need to be a foot or two wide.

90 liters = ~23 gallons

i agree with the rows, but you already have your hole filled with dirt, so 3 is probably good

don't think i'd put any more than 3 though for the fact that when they get bigger they are gonna be crammed together

i would do some LST (low stress training)
