I sure could have used one in the past but this year all my plants are short and stalky, a result of the bagseed variety as well as some known Indicas that keep a lower profile naturally added to the fact that my holes could have been better for bigger plants and I performed topping and LST early on to keep the height down.

I did the same thing the tall plant below (on the right). Red circle shows about how thick the stem was that I split. I did the same thing you did with the tape, and I also had to tie her up to the tree (blue circle). She was about 6 1/2 feet at the point and she still flowered beautifully.

I was pulling the two apart a little to get some more light to the lower growth of the two plants when it just split. Scared the shit out of me, but it healed like a champ, i don't even remember seeing much growth die (very high humidity possibly?)

Good to know pipeworks. It kind of eases my worries a bit.

Id have still much rather not fucker her up to begin with but as with yours, im not seeing any droopy leaves, wilt, nothing.

She looks as if nothing happened. I only noticed because any time i visit them i give them an up and down check to make sure everything is in tact.

Had i not looked at the stalk i never woulda known it split.

Im hoping she reacts like yours and buds as she was intended.

It is my strongest growing plant as far as strength and vigor goes. In my experience when you get that hardy growth in females they usually produce heavily.

I was pretty worried id lose her. Youve calmed me down for the moment, but dont think im still not gonna be on the look out for bananas as a result of the stress.

Did you get any hermy issues with the one you did this to?

I do both, top dress and brew castings. top dressing is great too sure. the thing about tea is you get it down to the roots right away and while brewing it your growing all kinds of microbial bacterias that benefit your plants (that may take longer to occur in the soil?). add a tea spoon of blakstrap molasis (i use honey) for the microbes to feed on and multiply.

you could make a kick ass tea useing the guano and castings, Id be tempted..but thats just me
Im not that much of a tea guy, but I like to do the casting thing for that extra boost once in a while. other than that I stick to the bottled formulas..they work fine.

So none of you would like to have a plant like this growing in your backyard?
Dude, if i walked out in my back yard and saw that thing growing, i think i would shit diamonds.

I cant believe this is legal in the very same country that tried its hardest to destroy my life over a handful of half mature tiny plants....

You are a very luck man sword, and i think we are all more than just a little bit jealous

Gonna take your advice and do both tea and topdressing! My 2 outdoor plants have AT LEAST 3 months to go (weather around here is fairly mild) so they need some long term nutes as well as some immediately available.

Mine will get a total of around 20 gal of watering today with this amount mixed in for a feeding. Temps in the high 90's all week is causeing watering every three days. Plain water last time, so it's time for a feeding.
Can I also apply Open Sesame at the same time as the Big Bloom feeding by mixing it in with the BB, or should I hold off and apply the OS seperatly on another occasion? Never used the stuff and am afraid of overdoing it.
I dont mean to mix the OS with the BB, just add them seperatly to the water for the soil drench?
I have strains at various stages. Some of my early flowering varieties, which have been in flower for abut one month got this tea mix of FF nutes for the first 3 weeks of flower:

Per 5 gallon pail of water I added: Add each nute separately, mix well, then add the next nute, mix well...etc....
2.5 teaspoons open sesame
6 tablesppons cup big bloom
3 tablesoons Tiger bloom.

After this "tea" for 3 weeks....I will switch to the same mix except substitute Beastie Bloomz soluble for the Open Sesame...and then switch out again in the last couple of weeks to the Cha-Ching

Since my girls that are in flower now only have another month or so to go...I have stopped any supplemental feeding using the time release American Pride...

This mix has resulted in zero burn.....and I think you could probably even increase the dosage....your plants dependant of course on their feeding habits.

Just remember you only use open sesame for the first 3 weeks of flowering....then switch to the other solubles.....in other words, follow the FF feeding schedule for soil.

My girls in flower have really liked this mix....and the bud site development and stretch of new stems/flowers has been quite amazing...I am just so glad I found a source here for FF nutes....they are expensive but so far well worth every penny.
