![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Id like to see a couple updates as well. Theres a couple in here that we havent seen much of since the original pics (though i suspect those will be the ones to surprise us with amazing pictures later on) Ill add the girl i entered here a while back that was temporarily injured is doing just fine. ![]() I think shell remain in the running for now. No more yellowing, no wilt, no overall plant death ![]() Anxious to see how this all pans out for everyone.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Haven't contributed a lot to this thread lately...been posting pics in Outdoor growing thread... I think Swordfish mentioned the same apprehension with respect to jinxing the grow, by forecasting for a large harvest. The question is always the same...will they finish up in time ![]() Those last couple of weeks are what can make or break harvesting just a typical yield or generating bushels of buds ![]() I have a few contenders that could quite easily generate 3 to 4 lbs...given the "Perfect Storm" of positive growing conditions. I do however know from my own experience, where I have thought i would have a great yield, only to be disappointed by losing a high percentage to mold/frost etc....and also that they always seem to need that last 2 weeks to finish up and fatten up...but I have been forced to chop for various reason...who knows, maybe this year will be different. I gotta spend the next few days staking my chunks which are just setting into bud formation....then I'll post up a few pics of my contenders...what the hell....can't really jinx this season as it has turned out so far anyways... ![]() Would also enjoy seeing progress of some of the earlier posters.... K. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | This Neville's Haze is filling in nicely, but I think the Hawaiian Snow (my official entrant..lol) in the Middle of the Greenhouse is much bigger, just I can't take a pic of it, maybe later.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Great lookin plants Arnold. They look very similar in size and stature to some of mine...super thick growth and bud site are everywhere. I have had to do some fairly heavy pruning on mine however, to open them up and help prevent the onset of mold which is common here late Sept/Oct. My chocolate chunks just went into flower here, oh, a week or so ago..I will need every bit of the next 6 to 8 weeks to finish....and i will be really pushing the envelope in terms of time and Mother Nature.... Heres a few shots of my contenders. ![]() grouping of 4 plants.just one messy mass ![]() ![]() buds on my early finish mitey mite x amstel...2 more weeks... ![]() k. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | very much agreed random!! Kawliga has in a season of proving photos become one of the few guys here id ask for advice personally. Dont know where he stand with indoor but he is a very good outdoor grower! Which in MY opinion is alot harder than the indoor scene. So many variable growing outside that it takes some serious experience to get plants like that to produce. Especially in seasons like the one we`ve had this year..

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Arnold Layne... Just wondering if you do any pruning of the undergrowth with your bushes? Do you thin these girls out at all? I assume where you are you have no worry of mold/frost....so my guess is you just let them go? I have had to really cull mine back to prevent mold in the next 6 weeks and to open them up so that some of the inner branches/buds can get some light....trimmed all the lower branches that were in contact wth the ground as they will be the first ones to contract mold... Must have trimmed 30Lbs of branches and 5 Lbs of potential smoke...but need to sacrifice these for my main colas and buds, and to ensure that mold does not take all of the plants... K. ![]()

the reason i leave it thru veg is that these are my clone generators until i clean them up. bubblegum is a pretty popular strain around here, and i get a whole lot of clones off of these girls, which i then share with friends, or get the new mommas started for next year's crop. if i had the facilities to do it, i'd just take a bunch of clones off of these girls now, and start them as next year's crop, but keeping that many plants going until may 1 of next year would require a lot of space and electricity. the plants would probably end up giving me 6-10 lb each, tho, if i started them now. as for mold, once the rainy season starts (oct), they are pretty susceptible to mold. i try to choose strains that have decent resistance. peace- arnold layne
