![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Shrubz This is my second season growing Blue Widow. Last year my plants had a problem (me) and didn't do as well. I was into experimentation. Anywho, she performed the same as the others when I grew her indoors, but outdoors she bested the other two by about 4 times. And the smoke is divine. Wonderful flavor, stoney, and potent (I have to stop at two hits - but I am a light weight.) I got started with some beans from Joey Weed. Popped them all then kept the best for a mother. If memory serves, I didn't pay too much for them either. The claim was that the Blueberry genetics came directly from Dj Shorts stuff and the White Widow was from Greenhouse in Holland. Good stuff! ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | hey all- so, it was a great year up at the farm. i still have no real totals, but things are looking pretty good so far. the smallest of the bunch was the little super silver haze girls. i think they weren't ready for the hours of outdoor light yet, so they never really took off. that said, i'm 1/2 way thu trimming the 1st cut from the haze plant pictured, and i'm at 12 oz. i still have about 3 gallons of bud to trim, and again, this is just the 1st cut. this stuff is so dense it's silly....easily the most dense out of the bunch. its the density that made up for it's small size. about an oz was lost to mold, the rest is just rock hard, trich covered goodness. as far as the smoke, it has that musky haze smell, and it just knocks me on my azz. the bg girls were also great producers, just not as dense. after trimming 1/4 of one bg plant (still 1st cut), i'm close to 1.5 lb. now, granted, the 2nd cut will be much looser...much more popcorn like, but there's still the other 3/4 of the colas to trim. my guess is an avg of 5-6lb per on the bg. a fine year, indeed. congrats to all on a job well done. peace- arnold layne

it's the most potent herb i grew this year (out of several different strains). if they had gotten as big as the others, they would have been true monsters. oh well, next year. as for the flamingo....... there are gargoyles that come out at night, and mess with my plants (they only come out when i'm asleep, so i've never seen them....i just know they're there). i have been keeping a small army of garden gnomes to battle the gargoyles (they only come to life when i'm asleep, but i know they do). last year, they were pretty effective, but some of the gargoyles got thru. the flamingo was brought in so that the gnomes would have some air support (it really does fly....i saw it do so after that 2g ssh doobie.....). the combined efforts of the gnomes and the flamingo have done wonders this year. if they had only gotten to the gargoyles before they had the chance to screw with the haze plants............ peace- arnold layne
