Yes Treadwell you could even said it right........ But this would be a REVELATION in modern outdoor gardening

I know mixing pests and nuts is never a good idea, so probably the best that I can do is showering my plant twice, on 2 different days.... first shower with some nuts, second shower with some (BIO!!!) pesticide

I should check her tomorrow

Hi all guys! well.....despite of what I was convinced when I started this thread, the last visit to my baby told me alot about the misterious holes

I have found a SLUG on a leaf

I have not a pic of the slug - I was in a hurry to KILL THAT BICHHHH - anyway Ihave found a clearly sign of the passage of a slug on another leaf -- see the pic3

I would like to thank people that suggest that way at the first, because now, it seems the best answer to me too

slugs love rainy days, they proliferate a lot and my coffee barrel is less effective after raining.... so one of them reach to pass the barrel....
maybe some weeks ago some slugs can climb that part of the plant in some other way and made the holes..... I dunno

The problem is not spreading...the newer part of the plant seems less affected, anyway the holes are still there

I have cut some lower branches, some infected leafs adn some herbs nearby... I have sprayed some NUTS on the first day and some BIO-INSECTICEDE on the second day as usual

we have so many slugs in the garden...... this would become an endless battle

The holes in the leaves look like capsid bug damage. Keep using the bio insecticide for flying pests like capsid bugs, white flies etc...

As for the slugs, copper and/or slug bait work well.

I've had problems with both as well. I mix my own spray for the insecticide. I use neem and pyrethrin soap.

Heres an old thread I posted about the Capsids
Capsid Carnage

BCGuerillaGrowa... I think you've got it
That's very interesting... I don't even know that capsid bugs exist

I've found some pics of leaves eated by various insects and critters on this page and I think you could be right.

More, you said that you're experiencing some slug & snails problems too.... this is a situation I really know well because it's very similiar to mine... probably we have similiar settings in our gardens

The only concern is that I have never seen one of those bugs on my plant when you said that they are clearly visible jumping from leaf to leaf..... I'll investigate further in the next days
just a quick question: is there a time in the day they prefer to eat and jump along? ie. in the morning, or in the evening or........

...
sorry buzzmobile u see I have just changed my mind - another time
