Hey, what's up, i'm new here. I'm kind of new to growing as well even though ive tried growing the passed few seasons (and have yielded) a good amount of herb. I'll get straight to the question: ![]() there she is. She showed her sex about a week ago. For some reason my plants flower on one side for at least 3 weeks before the other side begins to. To give you an idea of that spot, it's kind of at a slant, even though it looks leveled. The stock of the plant bends slightly towards where i took the picture (west, north west) Or something.. I did this same spot last year and the exact same thing happen. Thing is i grew two side by side and at the time i assumed that that happened because they werent spaced out. This year its just one, i am no expert but my logic tells me it has to do with this slant in the foundation. It's is very subtle though, just a small hill. Anyways last year i tried straightening it out with a stick however that just kept it straight, but didnt correct the problem. This time around im just baffled and it seems like history is repeating itself. Is it normal for a plant to bud on one side earlier than the other? Could it be just that specific family of plants? Is there anything i can do to fix this? Also the sun sets on the side that buds, could that have anything to do with it? Last question, i pruned her about 2 and a half weeks ago, she was so happy. Now she looks like she did before i pruned her, as you can see above, shes bushy, should i keep pruning or leave her alone?

![]() | I'd say It's slanted becasue it's growing towards the sun... I'm no expert, not by a long shot. But maybe one side starts to flower 1st because it's in the shade? I've no idea, just a few thoughts.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Is there any street lights or other light pollution hitting that one side? Because I had a small light leak on an indoor grow once and the same thing happenned, one side began to bud before the other and the result was larger more dense nugs on the side where no light hit it and wispy nugs on the other side. Point is; it only takes a little bit of light pollution during the dark period to effect the plant and in addition it can be effecting one side only.

![]() | it depends on you! if you don't have height problems, just let her go ![]() if you want a more bushy and compact plant YES you must fimming and bending the lower branch, in order to contain the overall plant height ![]() differences in flowering time on the same plant is almost always due to light pollution during the dark period as Siestam has already told u ![]() MUCHA SUERTE with your lady, she's looking nice ![]()

![]() | Thanks to all of you for the help. I'm just trippin because the side that is shaded is the side thats flowering more rapidly where as the one that gets good amount of sun is slowly starting to catch up. Anywho i think after reading the comments and just brain storming i think it has to do with my lack of upkeep on it so ive started making paths in the bushyness for light to come thru. There isnt any street lights, etc. I was predicting it would go into flower mode in late june because it was approaching the longest day so it got more sun that day and started flowering. Also this thing has been growing since feb. Anyways i will do an update when the time is right. alrato vatos!

![]() | As for pruning, since she is started to flower i would say no pruning, since it will take longer for your plant regenerate since she is focused on budding, not growing. I would say Hold fast on what your doing. What kind of nutes are you using?

![]() | Hold fast? what do you mean? And shit.. I already hacked her up a bit (in a good way) I was told that basically all the little leafs and shit closest to the stock can go so i got rid of them and left the main ones a good 9 inches to a foot depending on the branch size of flowers In other words she looks bald in the middle and i left the buds alone. I think you're right though because the side that had the bigger buds is not growing any new lefs of nodes, however like i was saying about the side thats budding slower, since pruning, has grown back very nice and healthy. This plant is just so strange it;s like she has no ass but some huge boobs if you get what im saying in terms of her figure. I will do what you told me and leave her be, also i've been given her a good mist everynight when it gets late. Should i stop/keep doing it? Does it matter? I used absolutely no nutrients or fertilizer, I mean except for the worm shit of course. Which i feed them banana peels from time to time. But other than that, no, this spot is so rich with good soil it's made my job easier. But again hold fast?? I dont get it man.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You dont need to spray or mist down the plants much more, especially late in the day. I would acquire some Fox Farms Big Bloom and it wouldnt hurt to churn your soil with a trowl around the base of your plant, then cover the area with some mulching material to hold in the mositure. Seaweed extracts or Maxicrop makes a good foliar feed if you like to spray down your plants. Just do it by midday and avoid it on cold days. It's better to just mix your nutes and do soil drenchs. While your out acquireing the Big Bloom for the beganing of the flowering process, get some Grow Big since you say you never fed them except with what you mentioned. I would give her a nice feeding with GB and the following week in August start the BB and you should have some big sticky buds.
