Ive had a few pots outside where the plants wernt uptaking the water from the soil and at the same time were showing a stunted growth with very slow new growth and what looks nutrient overdose, im still not sure what caused the condition. Sometimes flushing with RO water works while the container is still heavy and leach out whatever imbalances may be in the soil.
Ive lost some doing this and ive had others pull thru.

Take your finger and stick it in one of the drain holes, if its wet Don't water once that begins to dry out some is when you need to water. Don't worry bout the top being dry, the bottom is what counts. What soil, Pot size, and ferts are you using?
