My plant is starting to flower

My first grow ever, im really proud of it. I transplanted it into the soil last month and it just blew up..got huge. My question is where I live there are quite a few bugs (ontario, canada). Is it okay to spray insecticidal soap on my plant once it starts to bud?

Congrats on your first grow! As far as the soap...I would only spray the leaves and leave the buds alone.

Be careful what you apply....most if not all insecticides will effect bud taste if applied within 4 to 5 weeks of harvest....at the least

I only apply if it is a real serious infestation....if not just let her be....

Check whats in the soap...
