Well its spring time now in the southern hemisphere.

Seen as though last seasons outdoor crop was so successful, I am actualy going to do some planning this time around.

Time to set out the summer grow.

I'm aiming for some seriously big plants this year, so I have started already with 1 plot and will be doing the next plot next week.

I will be running a mixed bag, lucky I was able too save the genetics so i will be growing the same strain as last year with the addition of some bag seed indica, a trippy purple sativa and a lemon sented hybrid, not to mention what ever else comes my way.

So what does spring have instore for you.

pouring with rain as i type, wettest june since 1965, so will actually have some subsoil moisture for the first time in 5 years.

Looking forward to it as have heap of seeds, and will have a few clones going out along the way.

Got two holes i buried kangaroos in last year, so hoping for something special from them. lol nigel

but i tried planting on the other one fresh last year. Came back to find carnivores had made a mess, replanted but by then heat was on and never got established.

The gases and decomposition meant a lot of lifting and subsidence of soil. Hope now holes have aged, will have a cleaner run.

Constructive use of roadkill. lol nigel

Well it's pooring with rain here today and looks like it will keep it up for the whole week, so the next plot is gonna have to wait.

You should see the spot's I have picked out for this year, good soil and year round water (very important here), not only that it looks like a postcard picture, if it wasn't for the fact that i wan't to keep it secret i would have shown you all a photo.

Glad to see its finally time for you to start your run Nigel.

Hadnt occured to me till you mentioned it in my journal that while i was happily growing you were doing the misserable part, and waiting for winter weather to break.

I enjoyed your last years grow and lookin forward to this one.

Mine plants are still 7 weeks or so out from any imaginable harvest, but ill keep my progress posted.

Good luck with the upcoming year down under

great to have you getting started on your OutDoor grow!
I hope you picked out your plots last fall, it is so important that the late season sun hits your girls well. too many outdoor guerrilla growers don't plan out where the will be in 6 months...

Good growing this season fellas. I really need to get on top of some cloning for this season...been way too lazy lately.

Still some time though, I like to put mine out on Grand Final day, and given that St.Kilda is going to walk away with the premiership this year, it will make the day all that more special.

First time for me to keep track of what's going on in the SH.
Will be cool to see fresh bud while I'm stoking the fire and (maybe) shoveling snow.

Bring it on, I want to see some roo fertilised MJ!
