Not meaning to jack thread but Tripps.....how is the TT for mold resistance....?

oops...should have read your whole post....

Mold tends to stay localized with TT, I'll say that, never lost a whole plant, just a bit here and there.

Thanks guys:

Stoney-trees, I'm scared only of one thing...my middle aged mother. She's upstairs and I'm downstairs and I have no other place to dry out my weed. But I can certainly understand what you guys are telling me. Don't dry it outside. I may just have to save up and rent a house for a few months eh? That seems to be the only other option I can think of.

I am recovering from cancer so I moved back home for awhile.

Thanks for talking to me about texada timewarp. I ordered that as well as the pine warp.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Perhaps talk to her about it? If she doesnt want it in the house then dont.

It only takes a week to dry usually. Except the real thick buds wich you could break down anyway.

Smell is only bad for 3-4 days. Then it just has a normal grassy wet smell until its dry and starting its curing process.

I just dont want to see you build a room to dry in or rent a house.

A 200-300 dollar filter will take care of your smells. Much cheaper than building/renting.

Hi Stoney-Trees:

Unfortunately my mother is brainwashed and would have an absolute fit if she knew I was growing my own weed. I don't have any friends in the area either. So I was thinking about renting a house just to dry it, or drying it outside. But we've basically shot down that idea. I'm in a situation unfortunately. Got the weed but no place to dry it. Sucks! What I have now isn't much but next summer, that's a much bigger problem as I had wanted to grow big with the white-widow grizzly and then the texada pinewarp. Very frustrating! I'm not sure what to do.

Have a good night!

I personally think that renting a house just to dry is very risky and could result in you possibly getting caught because people will notice that you are only there once and a while and that no furniture or belongings are being moved in. I understand your situation and think that drying outside might be your best bet in this situation, although it will be difficult and could result in mold problems because of the damp nights, and a generator could be too noisy, sound travels and if someone hears it it wont be good.

If you have the money to rent a house to dry, then why not rent a house to live in, even if its a small one? Maybe she could help you with bills or food if you need it? Just some ideas and my

I'm going to think about your suggestion very carefully as it may just be the way to go. I didn't do a lot of plants this year but I did do some and the yield wasn't bad for what I was trying to do. I was after a resupply of seeds of my favorite variety. Mission accomplished.

But next summer...I wanted to go just a touch bigger outdoors. Small plots. 10-20 in a few areas. Way up in the woods. If I have to sweat gettin up there, so will anybody else. Not to mention breaking a leg or gettin a stick in the eye.

But drying is my main problem so yeah, your idea is a good one. Thank you for that suggestion.

Have a good day.
