Hello everyone , I've been around here for a few months . I am based on the east coast of Australia in Northern NSW ! I have only ever attempted to grow marijauna once in my life.. during my experience i failed rather miserably due to lack of knowledge and dedication ! I have been visiting a couple of grow sites and i have taken notice that everyone here is quite freindly and the knowledge that i have gained from people is now being put into action ! I have invented my own automatic watering system which has taken around 4 months to perfect . I was unfortunattly laid off work 6 months ago and i therefor got to thinking about growing my own plants as myself and my wife both enjoy smoking ! Unfortunattly today my biggest sativa dom was killed she was 38 inches tall and growing in leaps and bounds ! But these hurdles must be overcome and life must go on ! She gave me 6 clones and i also gained 4 clones of her sister 4 weeks ago ! Her sister plant has gone to a freind due to her growing very fast ..and my neighbours have made it very hard to grow at home and i started growng a little bit to early ..i was a bit to eager to begin with and i have learnt a valuable lesson ! Anyway i'm sure that my grow will be interesting and i would like to share the experince with everyone here ! So here we grow ! If you have any questions along the way i will be happy to assist ! Oh and i use jiffy 7 pellets and clonex gel for cloning ! Take care ! Last edited by purplephazes; 09-13-2009 at 04:58 AM..

![]() | My motherplant was killed today by a rugby ball that my son was kicking around the yard ! ( she's in the pic on the right under opposum netting )Oh it hurt but as i say its not the end of the world life must go on ! My clones will replace her and i'll have to wait a little longer than anticipated before getting to smoke some decent home grown grass ! So i would now like to show you all some family photo's i have and i would also like to show you my watering system i'll explain how it works as we go along ! Here's the family which has been given to very good freinds and the males have been chopped ! Last edited by purplephazes; 09-13-2009 at 05:04 AM..

This watering system came to light while i was sitting down at home on a rainy day and i was in deep thought as to how can watering my plants be made easier without the need to travel a long way every few days so for now i'll let the pictures do the talking and if there are any questions please ask ! The camp showers and the timers ,hoses ect will be buried and protected from the elements with thick sheets of plastic and the soil from my holes will cover the camp showers and keep pressure on the bags to force water down the hose and water the plants !

What fertilizer are you giving them? We have a fair number of OZie growers here in the garden, so your family will fit right in.

![]() | Thanks EZ for the welcome ! Firstly i have made my own soil mix which 5 months ago was garden soil and all of the household compost ingrediants egg shells , =calcium ..Lawn clippings = nitrogen... cucumber, bannanas , corn husks = Phosphorus and Pottasuim ! They have now completely broken down i also added around 100 worms each week for 2 months during the process ! Then since May i have added 2x 25kg bags chicken manure , 3x 25kg bags Cow manure 4 x 25kg bags of organic potting mix around 4 cups of blood and bone mix and around 6 cups of dolimite lime and 1 x 25 kg bag of washed builders sand ! I was feeding my mother plant Thrive liquid tomatoe food for flower and the clones have had 1 feed of Charlie carp and seasol at half strength so far ! I just had a guess about the mix and put it all in and left it sitting ever since added water when needed and the result was what i have at the moment ! Thanks again for the welcome and Happy growing !
