I found mold on one of my plants

What would you recommend? The trichs are about 80 % cloudy and 20 % clear. Should I chop them now to prevent the mold from spreading. There is no more rain in the forecast for at least a week, the high temp. for today is 54 and the low for tonight is 42 but tomorrow it will be sunny and a high of 70. I cut off completely the buds that were infected. I am going to check them twice a day for any more spreading. I have 6 plants and only one of them had the mold.

any and all advice welcome
thanks

Hello,

Chop em now I say.

If you saw the mold on the outside of the buds, then its already in there for sure, it just hasn't shown itself to the world yet. If you have pulled the buds open and discovered mold, then you could wait a little, by why risk it? The season is over as far as I know. While trimming keep inspecting for mold especialy in the larger peices by opening up the bud. I always remove a bit above and below the infected area to be safe.

Sounds like good advice to me. I took mine down 2 weeks ago. Was finding lots of mold. once it starts it's hard to stop. Be sure when you are drying that you keep air flow going around them or it could mold while drying.
